Beachfront holiday rental in Suffolk

The house was beautifully positioned/appointed with wonderful open plan living room and kitchen. bathrooms were all spotless, modern and well presented. Light, airy house with wonderful views of the surrounding sea. A special find, allowing good friends to enjoy some precious days walking and cycling in the glorious surrounding countryside. Host was very attentive and easy to contact - would highly recommend.

We had a great stay here. We love staying in Felixstowe and in particular this caravan site; Natalie was extremely helpful and proactive. The caravan was right next to the nature reserve which was great for dog walking. We would definitely return!

A beautiful apartment central to Felixstowe & all it has to offer,right on the seafront. A very quiet spot despite the road. Great hosts who were responsive with messages. I'd definitely stay again.

Carolines place was lovely, very comfortable, clean, the beds were amazing. Easy to find, and places to walk to. Promenade is 10min walk from property and you can walk for miles. We really enjoyed our stay and would definetly recommend it. Caroline was very responsive and flexible.

Ali’s place is beautifully and tastefully decorated It is also well designed so that our multi generational family gathering at the house had plenty of space in rooms with comfortable beds and fantastic showers as well as an enormous bath in the family bathroom . We enjoyed family meals around the big table in the dining room with an enviable outlook to the sea, using the excellent kitchen facilities and equipment. The house is a minute’s walk from the beach and promenade and a few minutes walk to the local shops of Kirkley. It’s the sort of house that makes you dream of having a place of your own by the seaside. Thanks Ali.

The unit was beautifully furnished, had all the amenities, and absolute the perfect location for access to the beach and the high street. Tom was an extremely responsive host , gave us good restaurant recommendations, and responded quickly to our queries. Thanks Tom.

Lovely house in a great location ! Short walk to the beach, local park, pubs and high street. House was nice and spacious with a great garden space too.

The beach hut is adorable. It doesn’t feel like a rental, it feels like a very kind friend has let you use their homely family beach hut for the day. Book it.

I had a lovely few days staying in this great caravan. The sea view is amazing and the caravan had everything I needed. Matthew provided tea, coffee, biscuits, and leaflets detailing things of interest in the surrounding area. I grew up in Kessingland so know the area well. It makes a great base for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk as it's on the border. You can walk North along the coast to Lowestoft in an hour and a half, and South to Southwold in about 2 and a 1/2 hours. The caravan is very close to Benacre Nature Reserve, which is great for local wildlife and birding. The buses from Kessingland are good, providing easy access to Southwold, Norwich, Beccles, Lowestoft, and Halesworth, which are all worth a visit. The caravan site is pleasant, situated next to the sea and sand dunes. There is a fish & chip shop, launderette, and shop on site. The village has a Co-op and two more chip shops. We had a great week in this bright and cosy holiday Chalet. The advertising photos in my opinion show it for exactly what it is. The accommodation had everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. We had some lovely warm sunny weather whilst we were there for the week so it was in a great location for coastal runs/walks and nice beaches not far. The White Horse Inn was also an added bonus just a stones throw away, with descent pub grub. We also used the Chinese takeaway next to the pub which was very satisfying. We are a family of four with a 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter and we would all recommend this chalet and location if you enjoy a peaceful environment with lots to do without having to travel too far. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had such a lovely time. Location was peaceful and the accommodation was perfectly placed for planned activities and so close to the beach. Inside was clean and lovely and warm and Hannah was fantastic at answering any questions very quickly and also making sure we were settled in. Thank you.

We were in Felixstowe for a family emergency. Communication was very quick which was appreciated as it was all very short notice. We are familiar with the area and it’s well located with good access to the beach, shops and restaurants. The home was cosy and warm even though it was extremely cold outside when we were there.

Great communication with Alice and the place felt peaceful and just perfect for what we needed with 3 generations staying together.

We had a beautiful stay at Cobblestones Cottage. A cosy, comfortable and well equipped home. Local to all amenities. Durrant Holiday Cottages were very helpful and communicative.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay! In the perfect spot with it being very peaceful and quiet, there’s nothing between you and the sea! Also very close to everything near by. Both were fab hosts with great communication. Would recommend and will visit again.

Paul’s caravan was very comfortable and has plenty of utensils for everything you need, great walks for the dogs. No complaints there was four adults and three dogs,we all enjoyed our stay 😎

Our family had such a lovely stay in this very special place. Carol was a great host. The kids loved the bunk beds and felt right at home. The view is absolutely incredible and the house was well equipped. We would love to come back!

This place is amazing. The apartment is cosy, the space is big and the bathroom and kitchen is beautiful. Perfect space and quiet. It’s private as well. It’s right opposite the sea. Right next to food places. About a 20 minutes drive to Great Yarmouth and 10 minutes to Africa Alive so was a perfect spot. There was lots of street parking directly outside the place. We absolutely loved our stay and Jane responded to our queries super quick. Would definitely be back and recommend to others.

My husband and I loved our stay at The Pebbles - it was perfect and just what we needed. The annexe is bright, homely, comfortable and well thought out with everything you need. It is literally a minute's walk from the coast with beautiful views and a coastal path, with short walks to a coffee hut and local pubs for food and drink. Vicky and Mike were friendly hosts giving recommendations and quick responses so we felt very welcomed and looked after, and the little treats and hot drinks choices were much appreciated. We had a relaxing and chilled break away and would thoroughly recommend a stay.

Just got home from and amazing weekend away at our happy place..... Felixstowe! We were greeted by our hosts Anthea and Dennis who were really lovely. Their holiday home was really beautiful and spacious and very clean. We stayed with two 12 year olds girls who also loved the space and not to mention having Internet!! Also a real treat....there was a bath!! Which i enjoyed with a glass of wine at the end of the day. This was our first visit to their lovely holiday home and im already planning the next.
