Barn accommodation in Suffolk

Our fifth stay here, so you can tell how much we love it! Comfortable cottage is lovely peaceful surroundings, well located to explore the Suffolk coast and surroundings.

Lovely quiet spot - perfect for visits to Snape Maltings, river walks etc.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage in the Suffolk countryside. We enjoyed cosy evenings spent in front of the wood burning stove. Aldeburgh is great for a day trip. The Crown pub was a welcoming place for lunch. Ed and Sarah are great hosts.

Chris and Melissa were perfect hosts. With a very friendly welcome it was nice to meet them as they were away on our last visit. Georgie their sweet dog was very happy to see us and our dog too. The barn is a real sanctuary and beautifully furnished with the best kitchen. Garden is shared with a private corner too. Our dog could wander where he liked as did Georgie. Thanks will return again.

It's not often that a place exceeds your expectations, but this place certainly did, it is absolutely beautiful, everything about it was perfect, there were 8 of us staying here and each and everyone of us loved it. Marcus was lovely to deal with, he recommended a restaurant/pub for a Saturday lunch, "The Red Lion" in Debenham which was about an hours walk away and the food and service were exceptional. We had a fabulous weekend.

A lovely place for a break away. Cozy, but with plenty of space for two. Lovely using all the facilities available.

We could not be more grateful to Peter and his family for hosting us for my sister wedding locally. Absolutely gorgeous home and fantastic hosts. Extremely patient with us on wedding day when things became a little chaotic. Could not recommend more for a large family get away location.

The Hayloft is a wonderful romantic haven , very relaxing and peaceful with beautiful views all around , Nicola is a great host who showed us around and was on hand if needed,

We had a fantastic stay. The location is so beautiful and peaceful with great views of the garden and the decking being a sun trap was absolute bliss. Inside was really beautiful and spotlessly clean, with so many extra touches, from fresh fruit, to brownies to fresh herbs. Kitchen was really well equipped with everything you could ever need. I was so impressed and would definitely recommend! Thank you so much, we loved it. :)

We had a lovely few days at Betsey Trotwood, the bed was so comfy we slept really well. The accommodation was perfect, and Bella our dog enjoyed the back courtyard. The information folder which Matt and Michaela had put together was very useful, it helped us to decide where to visit, plenty of very nice pubs which served high standard food close by.

We had a lovely stay and found everything to be very clean and comfortable. A very peaceful setting tucked away in beautiful countryside Rebecca was very friendly and helped us out by giving a lift to my daughter to get her car back which we had left at the wedding we attended . We really appreciated that

A huge thank you to Melissa - the barn was simply stunning! It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Even when it rained, it didn't matter at all. The hot tub was amazing and the surroundings were beautiful. Definitely stunning!!

Back again to the delightful MPC. This is such a tranquil, relaxing place to stay when visiting the area. A must stay if you’re travelling in Suffolk. Lizzy is a fabulous host and always leaves a welcome present (chocolate chip cookies). All the facilities you will need and access to Netflix etc. Thanks again …back to visit soon!

Sara’s place is honestly a hidden gem. It is the perfect retreat for a peaceful relaxing stay. The accommodation is great, comfortable beds, top notch bathroom facilities and the kitchen is very well stocked. There are basics in the kitchen but I would recommend taking some oil, seasonings as we have to pop out for these when we got there. The garden is perfect for your pup to have a run around and is well enclosed so no escaping. I have saved Sara’s place as planning to head back there with my mum hopefully this year! It felt like a home away from home.

We have returned from an idyllic stay at this breathtaking barn. Every nook and cranny is decorated with beautiful antiques, artwork and musical instruments and the setting is wonderfully private with the bonus of chickens and sheep on the doorstep. The property is very charming, with the advantage of a sauna to relax in. We used this both nights during our stay and played relaxing music through the bluetooth speaker which made it feel like a spa retreat! The quayside is just across the road and a small convenience store selling essentials literally a few steps away. We walked to two of the local pubs (5 min walk away) and had some nice food outside as we were blessed with the weather. We spent a day in Southwold and visited Beccles during our stay, both a short 20 min drive away. Andy and Katherine are both so friendly and accommodating and we’d love to stay again soon. The house is stunning- beautifully designed and decorated with a warm and cosy feeling! The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing! There are lots of places to sit and chill out within the house too- and outside. All facilities are provided in the kitchen too! Great family stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed the 3 adjoined cottages as it gave extra space and privacy too. The games room is inspired - a refuge for older children or adults with table tennis, table football, a radio and outdoor games but an independent goal for our toddlers too with gocarts and balls. Walking routes from the door meant no travelling by car for us so we'll have to visit again to see some of the many sights we've yet to visit! There are quite a lot of stairs between all the cottages which the children loved but put their parents on guard! The views the hillside afforded though were magnificent. And the animals on the working farm were a source of delight. Well equipped, Kate was on hand should we have any queries.

we had an incredible stay at Marion's place. it was probably the cleanest Airbnb we've stayed in. the place was done to a really high standard too. it was peaceful and quiet and well worth what we paid. thank you for such a lovely stay

My third stay in this beautiful barn and once again everything was perfect. The large totally secure garden space is such a bonus for the dogs. Jonathan always communicates promptly and is very helpful. I saw a little owl in the garden this time which was the icing on the cake. I totally recommend this peaceful place surrounded by glorious farmland.

We were looking for beautiful surroundings and peaceful location and we weren't disappointed. We could not ask for more. The cottage was spotless and Charlie was very helpful when needed. I do recommend the place with no hesitation.

I would highly recommend Alex's Lodge. Immaculate throughout, all amenities catered for, comfy beds and settees and showers amazing. We felt right at home, lovely garden to sit in and perfect location. Thanks Alex we will return very soon 😊
