The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

Gute Ausgangsbasis für Wanderungen, Radtouren, ebenso für Besuche von Burgen und Schlössern sowie Sehenswürdigkeiten. In ca. 500 m befindet sich die S-Bahnstation "Stadt Wehlen".

The cozy apartment is also suitable for possibly longer vacation stays. A washing machine and a drying room are located in the house. The apartment has a parking space and a bicycle storage room. In the immediate vicinity is also a home-style restaurant with Saxon cuisine ("Hommels Gasthaus"). Just come in and feel good. There is a kettle and of course a coffee maker...coffee and tea are also there...special requests are gladly fulfilled

The accommodation is next to a riding stable, in the neighboring village there is a large outdoor swimming pool and in 20 minutes you are in Saxon Switzerland or also in beautiful Dresden.
