Great place to stay and unwind. The pod is neat and has a great view of surrounding mountains and sea/loch. The pod has everything you need and fully electric. The owner is great and responds very fast.

What a wonderful stay at Mungo’s. We were lucky and had fantastic weather, but would have been lovely in the cold and wet too with the cosy fire/bath and lots of books. Plenty of space for two and a dog. Loved the area-easy to reach most places on Skye, but with some good local options for food within a short drive and walks from the door. All in all highly recommended!

Our stay was just wonderful. The cottage is so comfortable and cozy, the views are sublime and Donald and Peggy were such wonderful and helpful hosts. Donald suggested some nearby hikes that we really enjoyed. The photos on the website really don’t do justice to the beauty of the landscape. Not only did we enjoy soaking up the views, but watching Sammy and Jake in the yard. It was such a pleasure meeting and getting to know Donald and Peggy, that we were sad to have to part ways. My stay at Bracadale exceeded all expectations. Rachel and Colin were super friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that stay went well. The Shepard’s Hut was adorably decorated and very well equipped right down to the binoculars. I was warmly greeted with delicious homemade muffins and Prosecco. Milk was even left in the fridge in case I hadn’t gotten to the market. The location is private and more remote though within easy driving distance of attractions and restaurants. There is a cafe within walking distance. The views were spectacular with the owners’ sheep on site. It was such fun watching the baby lambs playing! I will definitely be returning for a longer stay!
