The Haseltal cycle path passes right by the property. The outdoor swimming pool is about 300 meters away. The ski and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues, downhill with a lift and Schmiedefeld) can easily be reached in 20-30 minutes by car and also by public transport.

Modern holiday home in the heart of the Grabfeld

After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. The Reuthsee is the largest natural lake in Lower Franconia (about 17 hectares) and is only about 100 meters away as the crow flies. Pure nature. Core removed by 2017 according to KfW standard and completely renovated with a lot of love for detail. Previously used as a weekend house and home office. We are new to Airbnb :) .

The Remise is an outbuilding of Bedheim Castle. In the house there are 2 bedrooms (a guest room with 2 beds and a dormitory with 10 beds), 2 bathrooms (each with 2 toilets and a shower) and a large kitchen-living room with a fireplace. Parking is available on the castle grounds.

Forest Hideout

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
