Check out the herons and eagles from the spacious deck, or fish and kayak off the dock. Relax in a private bonus room with screened in porch, all newly renovated in 2022. Fishing, swimming, and floating all on the protected freshwater lake. We have boats for your use, theater space & hot tub to wind down at night after dining on our deck. Picnic at our private Shark Tooth Beach, watch Osprey & Eagles fish the Potomac, and collect 15-million-year-old fossilized shark teeth!

Views of the sound & the river side of the island. 3 BR are large (2 King beds/1 Queen), w/ their own BA (1 BR w/ BA is on 1st floor, no stairs). Smart TV's in 3 BR's. Great entertaining space!

However, the space is small and it is really a studio apartment as I think the pictures make evident.

The Riverbunk is located on the Rappahannock River in Colonial Beach, Virginia. The scenic River is home to Eagles, ospreys and great blue herons. The river offers the perfect kayaking experience and for boaters, a boat launch is within walking distance. Fishing, hunting, hiking and sightseeing are popular in this area. We are 420-friendly where smoking is allowed outside. The rural area is perfect for quiet downtime and fun activities.

We are near historic Leonardtown, boasting one of Maryland’s few remaining town squares (we affectionately call it “Mayberry”).

Gatton Farm Guesthouse is a two bedroom, one bathroom second floor dwelling above a detached garage located in picturesque Newburg, Maryland. Being on 15 acres and only one thousand feet from the Potomac River, guests will enjoy views of Canadian geese, wild turkeys, bald eagles and white tail deer. Gatton Farm is also considered a historical site as it was once the residence of famous guitarist Danny Gatton.
