The house is a 2 bed 1 bath 1974 flat top A Frame that sits on two acres on the outskirts of Lusby, MD—and a low traffic hour(ish) drive from the DMV. Relax with the whole family at Bay Breeze, a peaceful cottage off the Potomac River with a private dock! Nature and water lovers will be right at home in this peaceful sanctuary. Check out the herons and eagles from the spacious deck, or fish and kayak off the dock. Relax in a private bonus room with screened in porch, all newly renovated in 2022. There is fun for all ages at this cozy waterfront cottage! Please note, no parties are allowed. All guests must be included in your reservation

Welcome to the Butterfly Effect! Recharge at this tranquil getaway. 2.5 wooded acres with a private dock and cove, a short paddle away from the lake beach with a swimming dock and sandy beach! Fishing, swimming, and floating all on the protected freshwater lake. We have boats for your use, theater space & hot tub to wind down at night after dining on our deck. Picnic at our private Shark Tooth Beach, watch Osprey & Eagles fish the Potomac, and collect 15-million-year-old fossilized shark teeth!

Kitchen includes stove, microwave, oven, Keurig, pots and pans, and other utensils to make your cooking experiences more simple. Note* we do not have our own pier. Please use our fishing rods at the public pier close by!

Dine outdoors on the spacious deck, spend some some quality family time with an in-ground trampoline, tree swing, cornhole, bocce ball, spikeball, and a unique custom-built treehouse. Or just stay inside, relax, and enjoy the views, with an indoor electric fireplace and jacuzzi bathtub.

However, the space is small and it is really a studio apartment as I think the pictures make evident.

The Riverbunk is located on the Rappahannock River in Colonial Beach, Virginia. The scenic River is home to Eagles, ospreys and great blue herons. The river offers the perfect kayaking experience and for boaters, a boat launch is within walking distance. Fishing, hunting, hiking and sightseeing are popular in this area. We are 420-friendly where smoking is allowed outside. The rural area is perfect for quiet downtime and fun activities.

Please note, due to extensive pet damage we have changed this property to strictly no animals. You will be asked to leave if you arrive with a pet.

We are thrilled to host guests at the newly renovated Water's Edge Cottage -- a serene oasis offering what may be the best views on the Potomac. The rural charm of St. Mary’s County is among Maryland’s best kept secrets -- 90 minutes but a world away from Washington DC (with no Bay Bridge traffic!). We are near historic Leonardtown, boasting one of Maryland’s few remaining town squares (we affectionately call it “Mayberry”).

Gatton Farm Guesthouse

Gatton Farm Guesthouse is a two bedroom, one bathroom second floor dwelling above a detached garage located in picturesque Newburg, Maryland. Being on 15 acres and only one thousand feet from the Potomac River, guests will enjoy views of Canadian geese, wild turkeys, bald eagles and white tail deer. Gatton Farm is also considered a historical site as it was once the residence of famous guitarist Danny Gatton.
