Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Strand Beach

We had a lovely stay at Werner's place as two families with 5 adults and 3 kids. The space was the perfect size. Not too big that we felt disconnected from each other, but also not so small that we felt we were in each other's space. It's also a beautiful location, and just a few minutes walk to a winery. Very well stocked in terms of crockery and glassware. Will definitely book again!

Colettes place was exactly what we needed to get away from the city's hustle and bustle. It was so peaceful. There were so many toys my daughter could play with and very child friendly which I appreciate. The place was clean and very neat. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

We just left Cape Town and our stay at Gareth’s beautiful home overlooking the beach below. It was even better than the photos! We woke to an amazing view of the sun rise each morning! The beds are super comfy and the rooms bright and airy during the day. Such an incredible experience. We loved being south of downtown Cape Town with easier access to Boulders Beach and Cape of Good Hope. We could have enjoyed spending an entire week soaking it all in. We would recommend this home to anyone visiting. It was also super safe secluded on the hillside with a secure garage and gated pathway to the home and off the beaten path.

If you’re reading this review, it means you’re considering this rental. If this beach-front property is available, don’t waste any more time and simply rent it! My wife and I have rented AirBnB properties around the world and this rental was spectacular. One of the best places, if not the best place, we’ve ever rented. Mary-Louise is a very responsive host, her place is spotless clean, large with 2 bedrooms and has a multi-million dollar view. Only steps away from the ocean, falling asleep to the ocean was so relaxing and the only thing we wish was to have been able to stay longer than just 3 nights. My work colleagues was raised in Cape Town and recommended Camps Bay over the V&A area and we were so happy we listened to him and stayed on Glen Beach. Thanks so much Mary-Louise for an amazing stay!!!!! Should we ever return to Cape Town, we will definitely be a repeat guest.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Stay with Stunning Views! My stay at Caren’s Airbnb (Mountain View) on their beautiful working wine farm, Yonder Hill, was unforgettable. The views of the Helderberg are breathtaking — perfect for morning coffee or evening wind-downs. The property was spotless, stylish, and fully equipped with everything from a very well stocked kitchen to high-speed Wi-Fi and comfy beds. The en-suite bathrooms are new, well appointed and stocked with everything you need. There are little extras everywhere, and these small things really matter and make all the difference. Caren & Daniel were fantastic hosts: welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout. I was in SA for family business which is usually quite stressful, but staying at Mountain View left me feeling relaxed and recharged. Though I travelled alone, the space would easily suit a family of four. Bonus: the night sky was incredible — I even saw Starlink pass overhead! A true gem. Highly recommended with no hesitation.

Louise was fantastic from the comms before we arrived, when we arrived and until we left. Such a friendly host and willing to accommodate our needs as a family. The house itself was spotless and they thought of everything to make out stay enjoyable. I would 100% stay at this house again as we do visit SW almost yearly. Best place we have stayed in Scarborough. Very peacefull. Walking distance to the Hub. Stunning walking trail up the mountain behind (Baskloof trail). The beds are extremely comfortable. Braaipit so well positioned that we could braai every evening even with a strong south easterly wind. We will be back…

Sandra was very friendly, professional and helpful and was very accommodating with our check in when our plans changed last minute. The unit was exactly as shown in the photos. Everything was new & well decorated. Everything we needed was in the unit, right down to having adapter plugs for charging in the bedrooms. The view of the ocean from the balcony was stunning! We really felt like we were home away from home. We would definitely recommend this unit and Sandra as a host! Thanks for sharing your unit with us Sandra, we had a great stay! :-)

Exactly what I needed. Well-appointed for a business visit when you don't intend to do major catering. Comfortable. Decent size table for working or eating on. Convenient parking on site.

Centrally located, in a secure, serene environment, Home away from home, apartment had everything you can need in a home, host was super friendly and very helpful. The shopping Centre is 5min walk away, the beach 10 minutes The apartment is really homely and peaceful .. The attention to detail on things a guest might require was top notch…

What breathtaking views! Across the road from a magnificent beach and close to great restaurants. Beautiful flat, very comfortable. Quintus was a fantastic host and spoiled us. We will be back, next time with the whole family.

What a great exclusive appartment, location is perfect, best view ever and walking distance from all eateries, banks, shops, etc...the flat is very well equipped, maintenance and cleannes is top! Evi and Piet, owners and hosts are very helpfull, know the ins and outs of the area and are literally 24/7 available for their guests! A great experience, lovely stay and we'll be back!!

The response time was quick , the hot water needs to be fixed , but that was a minor issue

Stayed at Leo’s place for 4 nights. Timon was assisting us throughout. Very helpful. Always replied to our any questions at any time. We weren’t able to operate the heater, so he came down specially to show us and made a video also got an extra electric heater if we still can’t operate the manual one. Loved the place. It’s just perfect for 2 people and has everything you need for a comfortable stay with gorgeous views and near to all the restaurants and supermarkets We had a great time :)

5-star stay. Nothing could prepare me for the spectacular views of Table Mountain reserved just for us on the rooftop. Very central in a great location. Brandon went above and beyond to ensure that we had all that we needed and we were able to leave our luggage before flying out. I wish we could have booked more days to stay here!

We decided on an unscheduled trip to visit the kids in Stellenbosch. Looked for a place to just sleep as our itenirary was jam packed. I booked, and minutes later received confirmation and instructions. Well communicated, everything was as it is described. Book here if you need a good value 1-2 day stopover. You will not be disappointed.

We had a very brief stay in Cape Town and this was the perfect place. It was very centrally located and therefore easy and quick to places we needed to get to. The views were as promised, spectacular! Having coffee in the early morning with a view of all of Cape Town as the light came up, and watching the sunset over the peninsula was gorgeous. The apartment is neat and pristine and we’re very happy to have stayed here!
