Francis's 3 bedroom cottage on the lake/river is an excellent location to decompress, fish, canoe, kayak, mountain bike or walk the woods to see Ontario's wildlflowers. The cottage is tidy and it has everything one may need when cottaging. The cottage is a very short drive to the beautiful quaint Town of Hastings. We were able to stream the hockey game (Oilers vs Panthers) and we watch Netflix in the evening after cooking a late dinner on the campfire. There is a propane BBQ but we prefer to cook over a fire. Neighbours are quiet and friendly. If you are looking for a family vacation or an adult weekend getaway, I strongly recommend Francis's cottage- you will not be disappointed.

What a lovely place to stay and relax for the weekend. Cottage was clean and beautiful. Checkin was easy. If I had any questions regarding the space host was quick and helpful to respond. If I find myself needing a cottage to stay in the future I will definitely choose this one again

This is our third year at this beautiful Bobcaygeon getaway house. The hostess is amazing, always accommodating and super friendly. The house is as advertised with a cute Tiki hut and dock for our boat. Thank you Lisa.

I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

My husband and I had a great stay at Daniel’s place. Took advantage of the fire pit and peddle boat and the peaceful surrounding. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends.

This place was SO beautiful! Everything is new and well maintained. The interior is gorgeous. The fireplace and living room have such a nice ambience; cozy and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were squeaky clean and very presentable too. Staying here for the weekend was exactly the mini staycation we needed. The cottage is stocked with everything you may need! Hot tub was amazing too. Can't say enough great things & we'll definitely be back. Hosts were quick to respond as well 😊 best part: our dog enjoyed his stay also!

We had a wonderful stay at Mika & Kara's cottage! From the start, communication was excellent, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful, organized, and helpful throughout our visit. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, and everything we needed was clearly laid out. The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could possibly need for a peaceful getaway. The water access was a huge highlight, serene, private, and perfect for unwinding. The setting is quiet and relaxing, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We appreciated all the little touches that made the stay extra comfortable. If we ever find ourselves in Highland Grove again, we would absolutely love to return. My family and I had a great stay at Kestas for four nights. We were a big group and found ample space for socialization and great sleeping accommodations. The cottage was a steep stairway down just as described in the listing, be mindful to unload your things and walk down the steps. The lake and the surroundings were beautiful. Kesta was a responsive host and was able to address any concerns or questions quickly. I would highly recommend booking!

Highly recommend, nice waterfront property, fully stocked kitchen, had everything. Super comfortable beds pillows . Very well furnished, a projector in basement. What stood out all extra ( paper towels, toiletries, toilet paper) spices, coffee, tea. Looks like a real home

Victorias cottage is amazing. Checking in was super smooth and easy to find! The cottage is very spacious, and everything is super clean. We enjoyed using the kayak, canoe, and paddle boards which was a plus! Beds are very comfy. The yard is so pretty and clean. Wifi is super fast which was helpful. Would love to stay again in the future!

Dons boathouse was an amazing experience, the place was a lot bigger in person and the photos on the listing sold it short, everything about my stay went great and Don was a super thoughtful host, will definitely be back again

This was one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. The fall colours were amazing, the property so peaceful. Kaitlin’s home was very spacious and clean…. It was a lot bigger in real life than what I imagined from the pictures. Kaitlin is a great host. She was very quick to respond to any of our questions. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.
