Holiday rentals with a kayak in Stoney Lake

This was without a doubt the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! It was such a beautiful space. The view was unmatched and there was lots of room for all of us! We definitely plan on going back during summer months. May long weekend this year wasn’t warm and we would have loved to enjoy sitting out on that dock. Will definitely be returning!

I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at the cottage with my 2 boys. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The outdoor spaces were beautuful and the kids and I spent a lot of time on the swings and in the hammock. The lake was perfect for swimming (the kids especially loved the big floating mat) and we enjoyed exploring the lake in the canoe as well! The kids have been asking to go back ever since!

Renne is a fantastic host. Quick to respond and very helpful. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. There is lots of outdoor seating options which was one of our favourite things. It was an amazing place to have a family getaway. We will definitely be back next year!!

The house is really beautiful. You wake up every morning in the middle of pure nature. It’s a unique place. Lots of fun things included in the house. We had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend if you wanna spend a family vacation. It’s the perfect place to spend a lot of time in.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lakefront home! Faraz and Zahra were incredibly friendly and responsive hosts, making the entire experience smooth and welcoming. The house was spacious and perfect for our group of 8, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy time together. The open-concept kitchen and dining area was a highlight—ideal for cooking group meals while taking in the stunning view of the lake. We spent a lot of time out on the dock, where we could kayak, paddle board, and just enjoy the peaceful surroundings. When the weather cooled down, the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind. We also loved gathering around the bonfire in the evenings. All in all, a perfect getaway spot. We would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to come back again!

We had such a great stay at Chamalee & Andrei’s place. The decorations were awesome, truly Santa’s little home off the water. We were super impressed with the abundance of games and DVD’s there were, as well as how tidy and organized (labeled) everything was. There really wasn’t a detail missed. The recommendations were super helpful and we appreciated their friendly and quick responsiveness.

This was my second stay at Stephen’s place and it did not disappoint yet again! This was the perfect cabin getaway, complete with a very clean, beautiful and cozy cottage paired with so much to enjoy outside and on the water. We cannot say enough positive things about our stay and how great of a host Stephen always is!! Would definitely recommend, and I look forward to another visit in the future!

I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

We had a perfectly relaxing extended weekend. Spacious, clean and practically everything we needed including a fully supplied kitchen, books to read, games and puzzles to play, and loads of firewood to make the space warm and cozy. Lots of places to sit and relax inside and outside. We enjoyed the view of the lake either on the decks or inside through the large windows. Heidi was very responsive to messages and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. We look forward to coming back in the fall or winter months.

We stayed here for a few days after our wedding for our "mini-moon" vacation and had the best stay! The weather ended up being perfect for a few days of spending time outside and on the dock in this beautiful spot. Everything you could think of, they had ready for use. We really enjoyed our time here and can't wait to come back.

South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more). We stayed at Magdalena & Hubert's Brownie A Cottage during the Victoria long weekend. The hosts were amazing, communicative, and responsive throughout. The cottage was peaceful, clean, and had a fully equipped kitchen. I would recommend staying here for anyone interested!

We got a last family get away before our girls go off to college. It was a beautiful spot to play games, enjoy a slower pace and get some quality family time together. We fished, read, played games and just enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the area. Alex and Violetta were super responsive to the questions that I had. Beautiful home and lots of thoughtful amenities.

A rural cabin with unexpected modern conveniences. Everything is new and works well. Beds and mattresses are great. Rare you find great comfortable mattresses. Sheets and blankets all smart freshly washed. Perfect for my dog. Private and safe. Bbq worked great and very hot. Not one thing disappointed me about this place. The host was happy to answer any questions. Even at 10.30 pm. Thank you it was great.

The big windows and open concept kitchen/dining/living room was amazing! We could see and hear nature without having to be in nature. Caitlin was a great host!
