More than just a beautiful place This place is part of Remote Republic. The idea is simple: we rent out beautiful places – and use the income to enable social organisations to use places like these free of charge. Your booking here helps support our Schiffmühle location, where the boathouse and the grounds along the Alte Oder river are regularly open to social groups at no cost. In 2025, around 250 people gathered there for the summer festival of a children's and youth welfare organisation. Your booking is what makes this possible. Thanks for being part of it. This 61 m² garden apartment offers space to arrive and breathe. It sits quietly and close to nature in Wandlitz, about a 5-minute walk from Lake Wandlitz, with a separate entrance and its own terrace. Swimming spot just around the corner: only 300 m away is a free bathing spot on Lake Wandlitz — steps lead into the lake right in the woods, and dogs are allowed in the water too. The apartment is intentionally designed for a maximum of two adults – not a family setup, but a place for retreat, focused work, or relaxed days out in nature. We place particular value on sustainability: the apartment runs on climate-friendly heating, modern boiler/heat-pump technology, and a solar system – for a good feeling throughout your stay.

Lanke Castle #3 "Henriette"

Lanke Castle was built as a Baroque castle around 1600 and expanded around 1850 by Count von Reedern and transformed into a castle in the style of the French Renaissance. Count von Reedern was the king's chief steward. Lanke Palace was one of his 12 country houses and was mainly used by him to receive guests and to hold cultural events. After his death, the possessions were sold to the State of Berlin, which maintained a hospital here until 1997. In 2010, Lanke Palace was bought and renovated by several Berlin families. Currently, there are eight apartments in Lanke Castle, the apartments of the owner families as well as event, seminar and office spaces on the first floor. In summer, the registry office of the municipality of Wandlitz uses the garden room as a wedding room and our open air concerts take place in the park.

In the old forester's house in the middle of the forest, far away from civilization, enjoy untouched nature and silence, sleep heavenly and recharge your batteries. Pure country vacation! You step out of house and you are surrounded by nature. Collect wild herbs, wild berries and mushrooms right outside the front door or meet rabbits, deer, badgers & Co. A vacation on the farm, only without a fence. At night you can admire the stars at the fire pit and gaze into the depths of space. The house is perfect for families.

Haus Eisvogel

Newly built chalet right on the lake for 1–3 people, on a large wooded property with parking at the house. Large panoramic terrace with sweeping lake views and an outdoor sauna. Separate barbecue area with charcoal grill. Modern décor with a cozy wood-burning stove and infrared heating in all rooms. Separate bedroom overlooking the woods. Study with sofa bed and Wi-Fi. Final cleaning €40; please bring bed linens and towels. The current electricity rate is added to the rental price. Firewood on request.

Entenkoje ‘Anneliese’ camping boat

The Entenkoje offers you a unique nature experience in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park. You don't need a driver's licence and can drive the boat without any prior knowledge. In the boat you will find a cozy double bed with a view of the starry sky. On board, there is a small gas cooker with coffee, tea and the necessary accessories - perfect for your breakfast directly on the water. A bathroom, shower, a fully equipped kitchen & a parking space are available to you in our base on land.

Our small wooden house is right on the edge of the forest, so you can watch deer or other wildlife while having breakfast on the terrace. We live on the neighboring property. There is also a 2nd apartment. Our children's playground with trampoline and swing is right behind the house in the forest. Our 2 single kayaks, 1 double kayak, 1 rowboat and 2 standups are available to our guests in the boathouse at Wurlsee by arrangement. There is a wallbox for charging at the house.

Your lake house

Enjoy a quiet, relaxing break on your own lake property. You will stay in a beautiful vacation home with lake view and direct access to Lake Lübbesee, including a private jetty. It has three bedrooms and one bathroom on each floor. In the living room is a fireplace, for a cozy time on colder days. You have the choice between three terraces to enjoy the lake in the best possible way and a kayak to make excursions. Have fun in your lake house!

Himmelpfort Vacation Home

Offer vacation home in an idyllic location, about 150 m from the lake in Himmelpfort. The house has one bedroom with 2 single beds, a living room with sitting area, TV and 2 sleeping lofts (one loft accommodates one, the other loft accommodates 2 people), a bathroom with shower and toilet and a kitchen with microwave, kitchenette and fridge. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the forest belt of Lake Stoplsee.

Accommodation "Baalensee" close to nature with shower & toilet

On a hill, nestled by old trees, stands 1 of 3 unconventional huts with 2 beds each. In any weather (except in winter), the cabin can offer camping friends, cyclists or last-minute guests an overnight stay as an alternative to the tent. Just a sleeping bag and a towel in your luggage. The comfort consists of a roof over your head, a place to sleep, a nice campfire and a warm outdoor shower with separate toilet.

Sunny vacation home on Lake Zenssee

The wooden house is located directly opposite the old sanatorium, only about 50-100 meters from the swimming area on the clear Zenssee. Each unit in the semi-detached house offers ample space for 7 people (3 bedrooms) on two floors, a fireplace and a terrace with a small garden. Bicycles can be stored in a lockable shed. Near the house there is a supermarket with bakery/butcher as well as a canoe rental.

Light-flooded loft in the heart of the Uckermark

The village of Knehden is surrounded by the Netzowsee-Metzelthiner Feldmark nature reserve, just 5 km from Templin. The village is located in a hilly landscape. Cranes live here, but also sea eagles and ospreys. You can find otters and beavers as well as kingfishers. In autumn, the crane migration is a particularly impressive experience. 3 lakes are within walking or cycling distance.
