The cabin can be reached via a path of approximately 1 km with a 150-metre change in altitude. The hike is steep and takes 15–30 minutes; light luggage is recommended. Best suited for 2 people, but has sleeping accommodation for 4. The cabin has electricity, running water from a nearby stream and a toilet. There is no shower. The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.
