Cabin holiday rentals in State College

We booked this cabin for a bachelorette trip with 13 guests, and we have no regrets! Communication was excellent, everyone was comfortable (very comfortable beds and couches, good bathrooms for a large group), and the accommodations were great (campfire, hot tub, and TV alongside plenty of towels, bedding, and travel soaps). The dining table and living room are perfect for large groups. It’s deep enough in the woods to feel secluded while also close enough to the store to grab anything you might need without a hassle. We loved the cabin, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, restful escape with friends and family!

My family and I, came here for couple days getaway, & we absolutely loved this home , exactly like the pictures calm and cozy you immediately feel like home & you never want to leave , lots of space, beds are comfortable, definitely in the middle nowhere but it’s very peaceful, WiFi works great, smart tv’s, everything you need is here, oh and you have to try the hot tube it’s a must, 10/10 recommend this place for family & friends getaway & the host Cory very kind and nice and understanding, also responds fast.. Please book, won’t retreat

Me and my family had such a wonderful stay. The cabin was absolutely perfect for us. We had so much fun cooking over the fire and making memories! Great place to escape and be surrounded by nature! 😊

A quiet, beautiful place beside the creek - so lovely and relaxing! Even though it was chilly and raining, we had to take some time to be outside and listen to water flowing by! The house was very clean and the furniture was so comfortable! Courtney is a great host and very helpful and accommodating. We hope we can stay here again when the weather is warmer and sunny!

Cozy cabin in a peaceful setting. We saw three elk in the yard during our stay. A whippoorwill stopped by for a visit each evening. Beds were very comfortable. Hot tub and fire pit were perfect. The location is ideal for access to the valleys that run deeper into the wilderness to the North. This place has exactly what a rental in the PA wilds should have. 10/10 we will book this location again.

Gary is an amazing guy, welcomed me with open arms and even gave some history behind the cabin. The view is absolutely gorgeous and his dog is so adorable I just wanted to take him for the weekend 😂 ❤️ will definitely be coming back soon!

Lovely cabin right across the road from Penns Creek in a super-quiet and beautiful part of Penns Valley. A perfect location for a couple's get-away.

Great place to stay. It was beautiful. There is a bar/restaurant right down the road for those that don’t want to cook. I would definitely recommend.

This is the perfect weekend getaway if you're looking for something peaceful and private in the woods (but still close enough to civilization). The house was clean and had everything you could need!

We had a great stay! The house is beautiful and unique. We especially loved the outdoor firecamp such a perfect spot to relax. Our kids had so much fun playing in the basement. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We love this place! Very peaceful and comfortable. We stayed here to ride trails in the Sproul State Forest and SSRT on our side-by-side and having direct access to SSRT from the cabin is a big plus. Very cool having a full woodshed next to the fire pit. This cabin has everything, very well thought out.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful house and super close to the lake! It rained all weekend but there was plenty of fire wood to keep dry. The jacuzzi was great!!! The perfect weekend get away to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

This is our 3rd time at this cabin and we hope our schedule allows us to return soon. This cabin is perfect for my husband and myself. It is perfectly clean, has comfortable furniture and beds, is in a quiet location but is close to towns with great restaurants and is close to Lower Trail. Josh is always responsive with any questions I may have. I highly recommend this cabin.

Richie was so hospitable and a great host. He was so kind and the Air BNB was so clean, had great amenities and accessories. We were so pleased and highly recommend. He answers quickly and is so easy going. We had our wedding weekend there and he was so kind to even leave us a gift. We cant wait to go back!

The accommodation is ideal for large groups. If you need to connect with nature and silence, this is the place.

Norman’s cottage was very peaceful. Would absolutely book again. Caught my first small mouth bass in the river. Besides the golfers coming through (across the river is a golf course), there were few and far between issues with noises.

Great cabin in a great location! Had a great kitchen area which was great for preparing meals after a long day on Penns Creek! We were very comfortable and secluded.

We stayed here for a weekend trip and it was a perfect stay for our family of 5! There were games and toys for the kids! The outdoor shower/tub was also a super fun activity! The overall location was very peaceful and relaxing! Sam and Kim were very helpful and proactive about switching to the back up generator on a rainy day! We had a great time!
