Holiday rentals with a patio in Starigrad

Ante picked us up from the bus station which was very appreciated. He was responsive with any queries prior to and during our stay. The apartment and everything was clean and new. Lovely decor as per the photos. Lots of storage space. TV in both bedrooms and living room. Great flatscreen TV in lounge. It was a great location. We walked to the old town and restaurants most days (about 20 minutes) with a local grocery shop and Lidl close by. I joined local gym and we found lovely local coffee / drinks bar ‘The Bar’. Both fab. Felt very safe. We found Ubers easy to get and use. Zadar is a beautiful place and Antes place is a great place to stay. We would absolutely return.

The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. The equipment includes everything you need, there were even more things than in the description. Contact with Antonia was seamless and very fast, and all of our additional wishes were fulfilled. The location is superb - beaches, several restaurants and a shop within a few minutes walk, while still being quiet and peaceful. Thank you for a great vacation :)

The apartment was ideal for our short stay. It is very well located (10 minutes walk from the old town), with a balcony which is worth experiencing! The view is amazing. Also, you can walk directly to the beach and have a super market super near (100 meters). Ana was a great host, always responsive, flexible and open to give us recommendations. If we come back to Hvar, we would definitely stay here again.

Dear Vesna and Zoran. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality we spent wonderful days with you. The shared barbecue was very great to get to know you a little more. Thanks for that and of course for the herb brew! See you again ☀️ If you want to experience a quiet holiday, with lots of nature and of course the sea at your doorstep, this is the place to be. A tip from me: If you can take a bike, I recommend doing it. There are many small paths by the sea to get to know the whole island. We also took care of the ways to the localities or to shopping.

We had the pleasure of spending a few days in this beautiful apartment and were completely thrilled. The apartment is not only extremely clean and well maintained, but also furnished with a lot of love for detail. The surroundings are simply fantastic – perfect for relaxing walks and exploring. We felt very comfortable here and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

We had the best time in Zadar and Luka and Leti really helped with that. The flat is lovely, super clean, great light and view of the sea from the balcony. The flat is in a peaceful alleyway and less than 5 minute walk from the beach. The hosts were super responsive and even sent us great recommendations for things to do during our stay, great tips for places to eat, the best nearby beaches and nice sightseeing in the area. We loved every minute! We highly recommend staying here and hope to be back. Thank you so much Luka.

There were 6 of us and there was enough room for all of us. The rooms are super nice and all equipped with air conditioning, the bathrooms were super nice and equipped with hot water. A beautiful kitchen with utensils to supply yourself, with fridge and freezer. Anlange also has a pool and barbeque. The landlord super friendly has responded to all wishes and suggestions, we had our privacy and were able to do almost everything we wanted. Staying again

Sounds good. Small apartment at the crossroads of a quiet house. Good location, clean and well-equipped. Alessandro is responsive and very kind. I would this property.

Ivan makes you feel right at home. Checking in with him was extremely pleasant as he is multilingual [Croatian, English, German] All necessary aids were available and much more (coffee maker, hairdryer, Netflix access, pool accessories). All the questions we had were answered via Airbnb within 20 minutes [e.g. shopping] The entire vacation was rounded off in a special way, starting with the welcome snack platter to his wife's homemade apple strudel. There was also a great amusement at the end. We will definitely be back. Came as guests, left as friends. We've rarely met such an attentive host. If we could, we would give MORE than 5 stars. Great place to stay in Hvar for this price. Everything was as described in the offer. Great view from the balcony. Near few very beautiful places to swim.

Before our stay, Sandro was already very welcoming, clear and correct. Our flight got delayed a couple of hours, but that was no problem for Sandro's brother-in-law, Ivan, who waited for us at the house. He was so incredibly kind to get us some food (and beers) to get through the first evening and morning, as all the shops were closed, due to our delayed flight. When we woke up the next morning, we couldn't believe the beauty of the view from the house. Having breakfast outside, while watching the sea, calms the nerves immediately. In a 5 minute walk you get to both sides of the peninsula. Where you can watch sunrise on one beach & sunset on the other one. A lot of beautiful bays are just minutes walking from the house. Both Ivan & Sandro were always available to help, even when our car battery broke down & electricity accidentally got cut off by road-workers. Best hosts we could have in this beautiful place! And great advice on restaurants & must-visits. We truly had a 5-star stay!

Perfect and very cozy

I highly recomand this place. The view from the tarrace is stunning! The kitchen is very well organized, it was a pure pleasure to prepare diner and breakfast here, there is every equipment you need and even more. The beds are comfortable, the whole apartament is very clean. The Island has a lot to offer and a lot of beautiful small beaches are nearby. You don't need to have a car to reach the apartament from a ferry. Altough I recomand to rent bikes and visit far locations. We'll defenitely come back soon :)

We had a great time at Michelle's place. We were greeted by Andreas who was very welcoming, caring and always had great tips. The apartment is as described and the location is idyllic for a peaceful vacation away from crowded places. I would definitely recommend this apartment, go there without a second thought...

We were personally welcomed by Betina and felt right at home. We laughed together right away and it was super warm! Almost like at home. Dinner and a great fruit basket were also waiting for us! Betina was always available to us, we got great tips for restaurants and for excursions on the island and have thus found corners that many tourists do not get to know. The place was as described. We loved the terrace. Especially the big grill where we grilled fish! A vacation at Betina's is a vacation like with friends! It was so nice! Thanks again!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Easy and helpful communication. Apartment was exactly as pictured. Clean comfortable and cozy. The location, especially the balcony and private water access was so nice. There are a couple of good nearby restaurant options (including 1 next door with boats of tourists coming by the waterfront access most days). Really lovely and kind hospitality from Vedrana’s mother, Jasna, including welcome fruit from the property and drinks. The only possible critique is the internet is a little slow, but steady and functional for most things. Highly recommend! Thanks again!

the best place to stay in novalja!!

Very nice host, good value for money, perfect for family holidays

There were three of us there for a long weekend and it was perfect for this purpose. Right on the beach. The weather was nice so we could also swim a few laps in early May. The highlight was the view from the balcony. However, I would recommend arriving by car or renting one on site. We had little trouble getting there by public transports. The airport is about 15 km away, but it took us over an hour. Unfortunately, we could not order a taxi without language skills, as communication was generally difficult. Overall, however, we had a nice relaxing weekend with lots of sunshine.

[ + ] Bikes, kitchen, beautiful neighborhood. [ - ] Dilapidated old mattress, slow upload on WiFi. Not perfect, but the love and attention to detail is apparent throughout. Gorgeous area, too.
