Villa holiday rentals in Stari Grad

The house, pool and view were stunning. Had everything we needed and more. We will be coming back here and we recommend this house to everyone.

We had a very warm welcome with Marijan and his whole family. They were very kind, offered us a glass of wine and showed us around. We were 4 friends plus a toddler and rented the two twins, which was perfect for us. We really enjoyed having our private pool. Most stunning thing: waking up and enjoying the beautiful sea view. We really enjoyed our stay and sure will be back sometime. Thank you Marijan.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Fortuna. Sanda was very welcoming, showing us the nearest shops and giving useful advice re restaurants bus info etc.

Lovely, peaceful villa tucked away on a quiet street in the village of Sutivan. The villa was exactly as described and as shown in the photos. Plenty of space for the two of us but the living area might feel cramped if the full capacity of the house was used. The outside area and pool were both very nice, the roof terrace especially was really great. Unfortunately we were plagued by mosquitoes and other insects while we were there (it might just be the time of year or something) and there are no screens so the house constantly had mosquitoes inside. Even though the pool was skimmed every morning by the host, there were tons of insects floating within just a few minutes of cleaning! As others have mentioned it was a steep climb from the harbour to the villa (and rough/uneven underfoot) but it’s very short (only 3-4 mins walk) so it’s fine unless you have serious mobility issues. Lots of nice restaurants around! Despite the insects we would happily visit again or recommend to others!

We had a lovely stay at Andelkas villa. The view down to the coast from the pool was beautiful. As a group we really liked the outdoor kitchen and pool area. The villa was only a short drive from lots of beaches and the lovely towns of Jelsa and Starigrad. The parking was situated away from the villa and was a bit tricky at times, but we always managed to find a space.

We had a wonderful time in Hvar and our Airbnb made everything easy and assessable. Vinco's 2 apartments were beautiful and suited our two families perfectly. The apartment manager Ana was full of recommendations and helped us navigate our excursions. She was always available for questions and brought our grown adult kids bug repellent as they had gotten quite bit up in Dubrovnik. They arranged a driver to pick us up and take us back, which was one less thing for us to worry about. I would go back to these apartments in a heartbeat... We loved Hvar... Thank you for everything. Incredible Villa and stay! Sebastian is so helpful as a host and made us feel so welcome. The amenities in the villa are second to none - we loved the coffee machine! Sebastian had really thought of everything. We can’t wait to go back again.

What a wonderful spot! The villa stylish, comfortable and super well equipped. The beds were really comfortable and AC in every room. We swam in the sea right in front of the house every morning. The town of Ivan Dolac was such a great size: super chill and sleepy but there are a few great restaurants, a bakery and a grocery store. Elisha and Matt were super helpful and responsive. They also gave us some really great hiking and restaurant recommendations. We were sad to leave! I hope we can make it back sometime in the future.

The host was incredibly helpful! They went above and beyond to make our stay great! We were gifted with 400L of wine homemade and a large amount of quid on arrival and their generosity did not stop there. We were given recommendations for food and cafes and Helena even helped us look up when buses would go and where to get them from. The house itself was lovely all of my friends had a great time here!

Beautiful home and a great host. Went with a group of friends for 4 nights in hvar. Sanja had great recommendations for us the whole time. The pool was beautiful and it was a short walk from everything in Hvar. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Stayed here with a group of 12 girls, the apartments are spacious and comfortable, the location is perfect it’s a short walk to the centre with so many great restaurants to choose from around. Suzana and her mother were brilliant hosts, they offered plenty of amenities and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There was no hassle with leaving our bags for the day after check out. There are shops and swimming spots right next to the villa, could not recommend this stay enough!!

Fantastic cozy house in a beautiful quiet location. Tastefully decorated interior, a well and fully equipped kitchen. The beds sleep wonderfully and the bathrooms are nice and spacious. And as a cherry on the cake, a large and clean swimming pool, which is nicely lit in the evening. Zarko is a relaxed and super friendly host who responds quickly. In short, the house is really recommended.

Perfect location. Within 50 metres at the harbour, bars and restaurants. A little further to the beach. Villa was a delight, lots of space both inside and out. Ivan was excellent meeting us where we parked the car and helping us to the villa with all our bags and shopping. Had a lovely stay

Sanja has our highest recommendation. This was not just a stay, but a whole experience we will never forget. She made our week totally unique & unforgettable. We are so grateful! If you are looking for an immersive, local experience, you can't get better than this. Sanja picked us up at the ferry and was available to drive us anywhere (we had no car). The house is partially renovated - kitchen is gorgeous, and the bedrooms / baths are an older style. Plenty of room for 4 of us. Kids loved the pool. Located on a hill, it's a 4 min walk down to the most beautiful, uncrowded peaceful rock beach, with crystal clear blue water. It's a 10-15 min walk down to a bigger beach with a restaurant. Small market is ~20-min walk. However, the best part is Sanja and her husband. She cooked us two amazing, local meals, and even taught a cooking class for my kids! Srdjan is a fisherman and took us out on his boat to see the incredible coastline, incl Stiniva. Magical. 100 stars!

We had a lovely break in Villa Ventula. Rita was most helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Everything was very clean and as described and view was superb. Would highly recommend booking this villa.

We have just returned from a brilliant week in the villa. We are a group of 3 ‘older’ couples who were looking for a generous outdoor space for eating and drinking and most definitely a pool. We were not disappointed and the space both inside and out more than catered for our needs. The villa is spacious and very well equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms are first class. It was very hot whilst we were there so we made great use of the pool. The villa is well air conditioned and it was necessary to retreat indoors occasionally to cool down. Also just a short distance for a dip in the sea before breakfast too. Sutivan was perfect for us with enough bars and restaurants to suit our needs. It is a short stroll to the attractive harbour area and there was a nice lively feel to it in the evenings but without blaring music and groups of loud people. Would recommend without hesitation. Lina is a brilliant host - always responsive and helpful and willing to sort things out for you.

Top accommodation! We spent our summer vacation here with 12 people and the Hacienda had something for everyone. In addition, Tomislav was a super friendly, courteous and generous host who gave us great tips and recommendations and the food he prepared for us was fantastic! We will be happy to come back!

Lovely villa in beautiful surroundings with olive trees and the sea. Fantastic pool and the view is absolutely amazing both for mornings on the terrace and evenings to watch the stunning sunsets. You have absolutely privacy at the villa. The road to the villa is gravel so a car is definitely needed. There is approximately 2,5 km from main road to the villa at a gravel winding road. There is only air condition in the livingroom.

We can’t begin to thank Irena enough for a wonderful holiday at the Villa Iva. We were a party of 6 ( 5 adults 1 child) . The Villa was just as described. There was plenty of room for all of us to relax, especially the outdoor kitchen and pool area. You have a one minute walk to the sea and a 20 minute walk to Milna (6-7 by car). The bedrooms and bathrooms were all large with good mattresses and each came with its own mini-split ac unit. Multiple boilers ensured plenty of hot water for all. There were plenty of towels, sheets and everything necessary to ensure an enjoyable holiday. But the best thing about the Villa was Irena herself, she was so friendly and very easy to work from start to finish. We highly recommend Irena and Villa Iva. A side note, if you rent a boat you can park it in the bay in front of the villa. If you charter one they will pick you up in front as well. No need to travel to Milna.

For a family of four (kids 12 and 8), this was the ideal property for a 4-night stay to relax and as a base for exploring the rest of Brac. The villa itself was well-equipped and modern, with a lovely open living area. The essential aircon worked well. The outside area, with pool and BBQ, was perfect for chilling out and the surroundings were peaceful and private with great views over to the mainland from the balcony. We enjoyed a drink up there watching a beautiful sunset! Pucsica was a stunning little town just a 5-min drive away with a quiet feel but nice restaurants and bars. Plus a small beach and inflatable playground which was ideal for the kids on a hot day. We also visited Bol, a 30-minute drive across the island, with its famous (but busy) beach and tree-lined promenade. Closer to home is a rare sandy beach, Plaža Lovrečina, which is worth a visit. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend Marina and Ante's villa, as well as a stay on Brac itself.
