Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Stankovići

This place is beautiful. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. We saw the stars and heard owls at night. Has everything you need to make breakfast and do some basic cooking if you can be bothered, but there's lots of places to eat in the likes of Bol, with quite a few still open in the shoulder season. It is next to another kind of boutique hotel/airbnb thing but you're still afforded relative privacy from the terrace. Marijan gave us solid instructions on how to get there, but we still drove past the turn off so better to get there in daylight if you can. You will need a car. All in all such an amazing stay, the island of Brač has so much to offer, and this is a particularly idyllic spot. Thank you!

Excellent. A very special house for nature lovers, secluded in a private bay. You can only hear the birds and the sea. Sunset included. Very nice host. He even caught us fresh fish and cooked it deliciously. Unforgettable stay.

We loved our stay here! The apartment is located on a side street right next to 2 amazing wine/tapas places and steps away from amazing restaurants right on the water. The views from the apartment were just incredible as well. The apartment is 5 floors which was perfect for our family so we could all have our own space. The location of this apartment could not be better and the service from the hosts was amazing as well- we felt right at home! If you want an authentic and unforgettable experience in Korčula, this is the place for you!

It's a charming and secluded place with one of the best views we've ever had. The terrace at the house is wonderful for breakfast or a barbecue. The jetty by the sea gets plenty of sun in the afternoon and evening, but there is also enough shade provided by the pine trees. The house is a 20mins walk away from the village, and in May the roadside was full with wildflowers. Keep in mind that Sobra is a very quiet place, and the house is even more remote. You have to like that, but we did.

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

Wow!!! I don’t know where to start!! Marina organised for us to be picked up at the ferry when we arrived and was at the apartment to meet us. On arrival there was a platter of local meat, cheeses etc, fresh bread and a carafe of wine! The beautiful apartment is traditional style with everything you could possibly need on a holiday. We stayed 6 nights and it felt like home. The bed was comfortable, the terrace/balcony huge with a beautiful view! On our 4th night Marina’s gorgeous Mama made us her local clam pasta and delivered it to us warm with a carafe of wine 🥰 On our last night Marina dropped of a huge bowl of fresh, sweet cherries🍒 We have never experienced such amazing hospitality and wish we could have stayed for the whole summer!!

The villa is compact but perfectly formed. It had everything we needed. The outside space is fantastic and we spent most of our time outside when at the villa. I was aware of the small public beach just to the side of the villa from previous reviews but it didn't trouble us as it wasn't very busy. Definitely take beach shoes as there are sea urchins, thankfully we did. 😊. Sobra is a great base for the island. Central location means you can visit Pomena/Polace one day and then visit Saplunara another day. Glad we had a car as definitely needed to get the most out of the island. Would highly recommend the e-bikes in the National Park. We were greeted by Ana's mum who was super friendly and very helpful. Ana was very helpful and reached out via text a couple of times to make sure we were OK. The use of the kayak was brill. Our son loved that.

We loved our stay at Dino’s place. Lumbarda is an excellent town for a relaxing holiday, especially with small children. And this place is right next to great food options amazing swimming spots and wineries. Dino’s parents who live in the house behind were so helpful and friendly during our stay. They brought a high chair around for us, as well as home grown fruit and some cake. And often stopped to chat. Both Dino and his parents gave great recommendations for eating and other activities and helped us figure out how to get to our next spot.

We had a great time at Teo's. The pictures match the reality. We were welcomed by homemade cakes and a bottle of wine. The selling point is the mountain view from the balcony, you can stare at it for hours. As described, the parking is a little bit further away from the apartment, through a grassy terrain, because there is no way to park any closer to the apartment. The beach is just a short minute walk down the road. The beach is really beautiful and it's very wide so you can easily pick your best spot, and there are several restaurants, stores or bakerys all over. All in all, it was a nice stay and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Highly recommend this place! :)! We were treated so warmly throughout our stay, it truly felt like home. You can tell that the family enjoys hosting and wants to make sure their guests have a great experience. Additionally, everything was super clean and cozy. The beach, restaurants and supermarket are only a few walking minutes away. We really had a great time here.

Great location, very walkable and in the middle of where you want to be!Fantastic host…he provided many local recommendations, relevant history about Korcula and other detailed information. We loved the sense of pride that the host has for his island!

We have been using AirBnB all over the world for many years and this is easily the most beautiful, well appointed, modern place we have ever stayed! Views are spectacular and indoor and outdoor spaces are roomy and neat. Kitchen had everything you would need. Make sure owner tells you how to turn on the hot water as this seems to be an energy efficient place. I would suggest she make a 3-ring binder for guests that explains home details and may suggest local restaurants, grocery location, best ATMs, etc. Would definitely stay again!

The place was nicely renovated and had all the amenities you would need for a great stay! The host is very kind and helpful. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the old town or to the bus station which is very convenient. Definitely recommend if you are staying in Korcula!

Very nice, neat place! Barbara gave us a warm welcome and recommendations. We had a good spot to park our car and the view from the sppartement was also very nice. Lumbarda is great for families with kids

Fantastic stay. The terrace is a lovely place to sit, very peaceful with beautiful views over the vineyards. Jakica was extremely helpful and friendly, she gave us local recommendations and was very nice chatting to her. Supermarket within a few minutes walk, and few minutes walk to sandy beach for swimming, bus stop, restaurants etc. Highly recommend.

Quiet place, fantastic view, nice host.

We had a lovely stay in Marina’s place. A lovely 2 bedroom apartment with great sea views from the balcony. A 20 min walk from the old town with a quiet swimming spot just across the road. A few steps to climb, but that’s how you get the view😀

We were looked after by Dina's cousin Antea, who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She looked out for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean and comfortable. The view down to the harbour from the living room window and outside seating area was lovely. It was a five minute walk down to the harbour with its selection of restaurants and a supermarket - a few more minutes walking back up because you have a slope to climb, but that should not deter anyone who is averagely fit. We took a water taxi from Lumbarda harbour right to the edge of pedestrianised Korcula Old Town, which cost 15 euros return and ran every 30 minutes. This was nicer than going by road and not too unreasonable considering that parking anywhere near the town costs 5 euros an hour. The Old Town is beautiful and a more relaxing, less touristy and so more atmospheric version of Dubrovnik with lots of nice art studios.

Can’t fault the apartment, location or hosts. Could have happily stayed longer. Loved it.

Lovely apartment with gorgeous views of the vineyards leading to the old town and the sea. Short walk to a beautiful sandy beach (2 actually, though we only went to the larger one). 2 excellent winery's literally at the front door and many others a short walk away. Local cuisine was delicious. Our lovey hosts were always at hand with info or needed items, as live in the same building.

A Slice of Paradise by the Sea Staying at Ms. Tonka’s beach house was nothing short of a dream. Nestled in a serene coastal setting, this house is truly a slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the ocean and the gentle sound of the waves The house itself is a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Thoughtfully decorated with a coastal charm, it offered all the modern amenities we needed while still embracing the laid-back beach vibe. Every room was immaculate, and the large windows allowed the natural beauty of the surroundings to pour in, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. Mornings spent on the spacious deck, sipping coffee while watching the sunrise, were a highlight of our stay. The beach was practically our backyard, making it easy to enjoy a day of sun and wind surf. Ms. Tonka is the perfect host—attentive, kind, and incredibly thoughtful. Arci a plus the sweetest dog ever♥️

The location was fantastic, and the apartment was spotless!

We had a fantastic stay at Ivo’s apartment in Lumbarda. The location is perfect and the photos struggle to capture the beauty of view you get from the front terrace (there are two terraces!). Nothing separates you from the sea apart from the local road to the centre of town. There are a couple of very small sandy beaches in the town but 15 minutes walk to a beautiful large sandy beach. If you have a car we recommend Pupnatska Luka as our favourite beach - windy small road to get there but its worth it! Ivo and his wife were perfect hosts - lovely to deal with and very helpful. The apartment is bright open and spotless with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would love to come back in the future.

Both the location and the suite exceeded our expectations. Apartment modernly furnished and super clean. It has all or even more amenities than you expect for a Robinson vacation. The private beach and the location of the apartment offers privacy and tranquility so you can rest. The road is really worse but it has to be, otherwise the location would be too visited and with a lot of tourists to lose its charm. Malden and Momir are extremely friendly and always come to help if you need anything as well as with tips. We had a crazy nice time and it was a shame that everything went by so quickly😄.
