Romantic oasis surrounded by meadows and forests. Beautiful hiking/ biking trails start directly at the house. There is a great covered barbecue with fireplace. The beautiful garden can be used in many ways. A table tennis table, a foosball and a dart board are in the double garage and offer fun in any weather. The beautiful antique country style immediately invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside the holidays, we can usually arrange the check-in/out individually.

Our holiday home is offered here in the beautiful Wohratal on the edge of the Kellerwald. Hertingshausen is a hamlet of Wohratal surrounded by forest with about 160 inhabitants . In the center of the village there is a playground and a lavender field with seating for lingering . We now offer 2 e-scooters for rent for a' 15 Euro /24h. This is a scooter with a road license that can be ridden free of a driver's license from the age of 14. If you are interested, simply report it.

Family Waldkauz's guesthouse in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, near Kassel and is surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the door into the forest and yet only 20 km away to Kassel by car or tram. My accommodation is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with children) and large groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome and feel very comfortable on a regular basis.
