The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

Gute Ausgangsbasis für Wanderungen, Radtouren, ebenso für Besuche von Burgen und Schlössern sowie Sehenswürdigkeiten. In ca. 500 m befindet sich die S-Bahnstation "Stadt Wehlen".
