Lake house holiday rentals in St. Joseph

It was a little difficult to find! But if you read the directions that are provided by Molly you will be fine! Make sure you shock the hot tub each night. The shock is located in the closet by the kitchen.

This was a great stay for my dad’s lifelong dream of going to a home game at Notre Dame. Miranda was responsive and helpful. The space was immaculate and the view was beautiful. I highly recommend Miranda’s place! Thank you so much for having us!

Very nice home and backyard. The pontoon boat and kayaks offered much enjoyment. Barbecue pit worked and all amenities. Firepit nice to light and have smores for the kids. Bring bug spray for being out in the evening. Neighbors were very nice also. Great vibe to the area. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

I’ve rented a number of places in this area and Riverdance was very special! The home was clean and well appointed with all you need. Location awesome - everything we like to do (downtown Douglas, downtown Saugatuck, Oval Beach and hiking trails) was 10 mins or less alway. Kitchen well appointed. The star was the pool and we enjoyed it so much! A pool with no fencing between the pool and the river - that is rare and GOLD! Todd was great to deal with and very responsive. Great property, great stay!

We had the best time. The house is perfection and the views were dreamy. Our 3 kids were thoroughly entertained.

Howard is an amazing host. He was super responsive and accommodating to our large group. He had all the amenities that were listed on the property and more! We had more than enough towels and even kitchen appliances, spices, and utensils. His instructions were clear about checking out and our group had a wonderful weekend. The house is spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful sunroom that stays cozy even in winter. Located right by Little Paw Paw Lake, it offers great views even in winter. The hot tub is great, especially with the snow in winter -- such a treat! Conveniently situated between St. Joseph and South Haven, it's a great spot for exploring the area. The host is very accommodating. Highly recommend!

The host was very responsive to our needs and went above and beyond for us during our stay. Our stay was during cold weather and the lake was frozen over. Very beautiful and fun watching the ice fishing.

The yellow retreat house was perfect for our quick stay. It was clean and spacious and we felt very comfortable there. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We had a great stay.

Great stay! It’s more of a summer place since it’s right by the lake, but it was well-heated and very cozy! We were able to use the hot tub and had plenty of clean blankets and towels to use. Our dog loved traveling with us and there was room in our bedroom for his bed and he was very comfy. Wonderful stay overall, would highly recommend!

This was a great place in an even better location! The natural light in the home was amazing. 10/10.

We came to this house for a sibling’s getaway. The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths made it the perfect size and all the windows with Lake Michigan views were wonderful. The kitchen was very easy to function in and was clean and equipped fully. Being that it’s February, we came with the intention to just enjoy time together and not do a lot of extra experiences, so having a lot of business's closed wasn’t a problem for us. The outside fire pit was great for winter fires and the hot tub was clean and warm. We would most definitely consider coming back again!

Great stay. We had a wonderful time and the arcade games were a bonus. House was so cozy. It started snowing just as we arrived so the views were gorgeous-even had a few deer show up to complete the view. Perfect place for a winter getaway-cant wait to stay there again in the summer.

From the outset, this was a very enjoyable Airbnb experience. Geri provided a very useful amount of information about the property and area eateries, wineries, etc. The home was made available to us earlier than expected, was clean, very well-stocked, and ready for our use. The WIFI apparatus was robust and very easy to connect to. We truly enjoyed the beautiful, wooded surroundings...especially in mid-October...spectacular colors. We got onto the lake for some fishing using the provided kayaks. Nice bass in the lake! We used the firepit each evening, so the firewood that was made available to us was put to excellent use! I cannot overstate how impressed we were with the thoughtful outfitting of the home...kitchenware, toiletries, bedding, games, outdoor furniture, plenty of coffee, and more; everything we might want was available to us. Geri's husband John gave us a fun and interesting tour of their neighboring farmstead...highly recommended! Kudos Geri!

This retreat on the lake was absolutely perfect for spending time with extended family during a Notre Dame game weekend! The house was flawless! Everything that was described in the listing was exactly how we found it. Our host was super quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. Very pleasant stay over Thanksgiving while visiting family. Quiet, peaceful lake setting (even though it was very cold out and no swimming in the lake at 20 degrees!).. It was a good place to rest after the noise and activity of our large family 3 day gathering!

This is our second time at Samantha's Airbnb and we'd happily go back! It's the perfect place to host our big friend group while allowing us comfortable and enough sleeping space and space to be in smaller or larger parts of our group. Clean, well stocked, and overall a favorite for all of us!

We loved this place! More than enough room for everyone, plenty of space for 14 people. Super cozy we especially appreciated the Christmas tree being up while we were there, that was a great touch. The town was also only 10 minutes away very convenient. Overall a nice place, we definitely will be staying here again :)

We love staying in a home that had all the equipment to make real meals for our family! Everyone had their own space and amenities for kids- cozy cuddle area w twinkle likes, game area w race cars and outdoor playground were bit hits for our granddaughter. The older crew enjoyed morning coffee and evening wine by the fire. Would def recommend.

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday at Seth's place and it was perfect for us - 3 adults and a small dog. We easily could have had more family with us. There is plenty of room for two full families with kids to stay here - multiple bedrooms, lots of space to spread out. And the second kitchen made prepping holiday dinner a breeze. The waterfront access made for a gorgeous view - morning and night. Seth was super communicative. We would definitely stay again.

If you have a big group and need lots of space, this place is great. The kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook and there are plenty of games to play. The lake is beautiful and this spot has great privacy. There’s a pretty large flee market right down the road that’s open on the weekends and a great little market called, Walt & Marie's Country Market & Cafe if ya need something quick.
