We have new hiking trails on the thirty acres around us. One can also walk right into the Carson National Forest and have another 40,00 acres to roam. 59 miles to Santa Fe, 35 miles to Taos. 3 RV hookups for extra charge. Horses allowed. Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.
