From here there are good opportunities for outdoor activities such as swimming or paddling in nearby fjord waters, hiking and cycling. Possibility to rent a SUP, kayak and bicycle. Approx. 20 min by car to Fredrikstad city center and Skjærhalden

Explore the surrounding area by water and on foot in the beautiful surroundings. Kayaks, paddleboards (SUP) and rowboats are available for guests. Play volleyball on your own beach, eat out in one of the dining areas, read a book on the jetty or jump from the diving tower and swim a lap. Spend time with your family, relax and enjoy some relaxing days all to yourselves.

Large living room with open-plan kitchen. Very sunny and sheltered. Parking on the property. Three bedrooms, one with a 180 cm bed, one room with a bunk bed (2 sleeping places) and a room with a 120 cm bed. There is no running water at the cabin. Water is available from a cistern that is filled by rain. Drinking water is available in the cabin. Cinderella incineration toilet. For the children: Trampoline, sandpit, private tree house with slide, zip line. Remember to bring your own bed linen/towels.

Holiday apartment by the lake, Hvaler

From this apartment centrally located on Hvaler, you have immediate proximity to the lake and great archipelago nature. At the marina there are guest places for boats for a fee (guests must check for availability) This is an excellent starting point for paddling, surfing or other water sports activities. Ytre Hvaler National Park, with great hiking areas and coastal trails, is about 1 km away. There is also a small sandy beach 100 m from the house. There is a kiosk, restaurant and marina in the area.

Cosy little holiday home on Spjærøy on Hvaler. Bryggerhuset is part of an old small farm, and the hosts live in the main house. Here you can enjoy quiet and calm days in the garden, or take a walk to the sea. Both Spjærekilen with good swimming opportunities and Kjellvika are within walking distance. Generally good hiking opportunities. Whether you want to enjoy the quiet days or explore Hvaler, this is a great base. Shops about 5 km away. We have 7 happy hens that are partly free-range.

The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.

A small and charming house by the sea

The house is located 40 metres from the sea and has a fantastic view of Vestfold. Here you can enjoy a spa, barbecuing with a gas grill, a covered seating area and some fantastic sunsets. It's about a 2-minute walk down to the beach where you can swim, dive and jump from the jetty, or enjoy a long, beautiful sandbank that the kids love. Inside, there are most of the amenities, and the view of the fjord is just as good from the sofa. The house is located near the bottom of a cul-de-sac.

Velkommen til "bua" på Hvalstrand bryggeanlegg! Bua er en trivelig liten hytte beliggende på Hvalers kanskje mest sjarmerende båthavn. Her er det stille og fredelig samtidig som man får en smak av båtlivet. Bua ligger i tilknytning til båtbryggene, så man kan forvente å treffe på folk som ferierer i båtene sine. Det er bademuligheter på stedet med badetrapp på enden av båtbrygga. Omgivelsene består av mye fin natur med skog, stier og fjell. Se mer info under bildene!
