We had great stay over at Alexander's. Great home and location.

Lovely peaceful haven, tucked away at the end of the road around a pretty dam. Cottages are well spaced, well equipped and the grounds lovely to stroll through with our dogs. We loved doing a BBQ breakfast on the terrace and dinner in the restaurant was very good also. We would return to stay here again. Wifi reception is not great, but the peace and quiet is the trade off.

Dominic was very responsive and helpful. The breakfast bits he provided us was such a lovely touch as well!!! If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded getaway this is a fantastic place to check out.

What a beautiful spot. Lavender cottage was perfect for us with little touches that made the difference. The fire pit was ready to go along with marshmallows and prongs to cook them on. Big win with the kids! Hubby and I really appreciated (and enjoyed) the contents of the decanter. After many hours in the car it was a great way to wind down on our first night and definitely encouraged us to grab a few local delights. If I was to nitpick, it would have been nice to have a few more decent bowls for breakfast. First world problems right?

Great place for gateaway with nature surrounding you. Peaceful and relaxing. Host are friendly and helpful. Will definitely try another time when its not wet and vineyard is green.

We had a lovely stay at Carol's Eco retreat. Beautiful surroundings and very comfortable accommodation with a lovely outdoor space, including a fire pit where we toasted marshmallows in the evening with our son. The whole place had a very peaceful vibe. It was also lovely to see the work Carol was doing rescuing and looking after young kangaroos at her sanctuary next door. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful area! So peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay, perfect location to visit a few wineries with easy access to cook at home for some meals! Cute kangaroos come and visit in the morning and you can take a leisurely stroll to a delicious coffee and brekky just steps away!

The place was perfect! We will come back regularly. It was 100% worth it, great location, adorable place and great facilities. The only thing I didn’t like is that there was a fee to bring your dog which I didn’t know about and there was a 2 dog limit, but they made an exception for us which I appreciate a lot.

Carol's site is very peaceful in the middle of nature. The DayDreamer - our accomodation - was the perfect set up for 2 families with many kids and 2 dogs! A lot of space outside to play as the campsites were not occupied during our stay ;) Very relaxing! Also plenty to do short drives away from 10 to 30 min (beach, horse ridding, treetops, even go karting near Newcastle!!) ; plenty to keep everyone busy. If your thing is eating / coffeeing out, there may be other better suited options but it was perfect for us! Thanks.

Our stay at Silverpoint was fantastic. Thomas and Christine were great hosts, super helpful, responsive and discreet. They even went out of their way to secure a Google Chromecast for us so we could watch the Formula 1, which we really appreciated. We will be sure to return to Silverpoint. The stay was just delightful. From the beginning Raea & Holly kept us up to date with the local weir crossing and flooding situation that had affected the state over the last week. Their recommendation to use a vehicle that had a bit more grunt than a small car was a game-changer. We had struggles at first accessing the hut - no one was expecting a fallen tree to be blocking driveway access (this was fixed the following morning - thanks Jude!). There were some initial privacy concerns, as the hut sits next to a driveway that leads down to a strange cluster of buildings within view that look like a campground; however, it was apparent after our first night that we were completely alone on the property. Each morning, we were treated to the dappled light through the trees as we awoke to the sounds of birds and a wallaby family grazing near the dining/entrance. The sauna was great, the tub/bathroom was a vibe, walking around the property was magical, and the hut itself is inspirational.

It was a nice stay, everything was clean and we had a great time!

This cabin was perfect and absolutely exceeded our expectations! Definitely a bit of a tough journey up the hill (but we had a very full tiny car) so I am sure any other car could achieve it. We loved the different fire pit options and enjoyed cooking inside and outside. Best of all though was the table on the balcony to sit and watch the sunset every night. The electric blankets were also a hit. We would definitely return! Thanks!

As animal lovers, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in the cute cabin among the paddocks. It's got a big balcony where we had our breakfast in the morning, and since we were lucky, we also got to watch the horse riding lesson while having breakfast! It's just nice to be able to roam around and greet with Margrete's friendly dogs and horses. Margrete made us feel well taken cared for and we really appreciated that we were able to see how the horses were fed up close while having Margrete explain the process. Overall, a very friendly, relaxing and educational experience that ticks all our boxes for a weekend escape from our city rat race.

Fabulous property. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you we just wish we could have stayed for longer!! We will be back

Marcs place was exactly as described. It has a cute beachy vibe, and was everything we needed for our stay. Marc was also very accommodating with check in and check out. This was greatly appreciated and we would 100% stay again!

A beautiful stay, very peaceful and lovely surroundings. Jill and Martin are lovely hosts and very hospitable. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the Hunter region.
