A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

Welcome to the holiday idyll on the edge of the forest. The property is located on our property, surrounded by the unique nature of Mecklenburg Switzerland. Nestled in the hilly landscape, you will find pure relaxation here. The building complex consists of a large sleeping and living yurt and a cottage in which the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with warm water are located. Enjoy the moments in the sauna, by the pond, by the campfire, in the hammock or in the flower garden.

On the ground floor is a large living area with fireplace, SMART TV, a fully equipped fitted kitchen, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom with toilet, washbasin, shower and washer-dryer. In the attic you can use 3 bedrooms with 1 double bed each and 1 bathroom with toilet, washbasin, shower and sauna. In the garden you will find 2 terraces, an outdoor hot tub with 35 degrees water temperature, a shed and 2 parking spaces.

Only 2 minutes to the swimming spot on the natural lake, with paddle boarding available in summer. Forest, meadows and cycle paths start right outside the door. Deer at dusk, cranes in spring and autumn and a clear starry sky characterise the surroundings. A place to switch off and unwind – ideal for families and guests seeking peace and quiet.

Relax and enjoy nature in the garden and in the Müritz National Park on foot, with our 2 bicycles or with the SUP on the water. In our fully equipped kitchen (2-burner induction hot plate, dishwasher, espresso maker, fridge, microwave, coffee and various spices) you can prepare fresh food with an unrestricted view of the garden and with ingredients from our garden. The bathtub protruding to the outside, as well as our daybed, invite you to relax.

Schloss Retzow – tasteful living in nature. The Brandenburg apartment, located upstairs in a side wing, is well suited for smaller families. A beautiful living/sleeping area, from which you can directly enter the adjoining children's room with the stately original children's bed from old times, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, stove and dining table as well as a bathroom offer a pleasant living environment and plenty of space to linger.

Charming apartment in a uniquely quiet location

In the middle of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - idyllically located and surrounded by forests and lakes – lies our listed farm. The uniquely quiet location invites you to linger. Our vacation apartments have been completely newly built into traditional solid oak factory construction and were completed in 2019. In the house there are two neighboring apartments with separate entrances. The description refers to the smaller apartment.

Sunny vacation home on Lake Zenssee

The wooden house is located directly opposite the old sanatorium, only about 150 metres from the swimming area on the clear Zenssee. Each unit in the semi-detached house offers ample space for 7 people over two floors (3 bedrooms), a fireplace and a terrace with a small garden. Bicycles can be stored in a lockable shed. There is a supermarket with a bakery/butcher's shop near the house, as well as a canoe rental service.
