Perfect for a couples weekend, yoga or artist getaway. Queen bed in the loft and a queen Murphy bed in the main room. A wilderness retreat within the city limits!

Come and unwind at our 'intimate piece of paradise!' We started building this cabin in 2022, with the dream of having a personal get away spot. Everything you see is handcrafted by myself, wife and our two kids. There's amenities that we think everyone will love, including: heated floors, heated towel rack, bath tub on the front porch, huge windows and so much more! Modern, brand new a-frame cabin on the river. Overlooks the peaceful Illinois river. Watch the floaters go by from the comfort of your deck. The cabin is luxurious with all the modern amenities, hot tub professionally maintained, fast wifi and Roku TV. This is the perfect place to sneak away with a loved one for a long weekend on the river. By day you watch the constant stream of floater and kayakers, by early evening it’s the wildlife’s turn with eagles, owls and crane take over the banks.

Roxy Ridge is a very unique cabin development that boast incredible National Forest and Lake Views within walking distance to Horsehead Lake and the newly developed Horsehead Lake Lodge and Event Center. Roxy Ridge 3, the third cabin in the development contains a full kitchen that overlooks the open living room and balcony. The unit has one bedroom, one sleeper sofa and bathroom. The balcony and lookout tower will take your breath with the surrounding nature and tree top feel of it all.
