We absolutely loved our stay here. it was quiet, cozy, and restful. We also enjoyed nearby Holtkamp and Ertel wineries. We will be back for sure!

We loved it! Beautiful home with plenty of space for our 2 young children to play. Felt like home! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for cooking, the bathrooms were well stocked, and there was even laundry soap. Perfect stay!

This house is everything and then some! My husband and I booked for our anniversary. Our main focus was getting away from kids and animals and work to just relax and rekindle and that’s exactly what we found! The house was relaxing and peaceful. I had a hard time deciding between wanting to soak in huge bathtubs or hot tub. The back yard was amazing! The house was fully stocked. I loved the hundreds of cozy pillows and super soft blankets. Ordered in Sarah’s pizza on a rainy day was as good as everyone says! Did not have to contact owners one time bc of clear easy directions and everything was as described. One of our favorites thus far!

We loved our stay, Colene was the best host! She had so many great dinner recommendations and was responsive when I had questions! My family especially enjoyed the little snacks and treats she left for us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Madison! Her home was beautiful and provided the relaxing vacation our family was looking forward to! The house was spotless and there were so many amenities, the location was great and I loved that there is off the Main Street parking too! Great place and great host!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful at night. I especially appreciated the little touches and clear instructions. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here! We came in April and the kids had the best time in the creek. They spent hours and hours out there. Also this airbnb actually has cute mugs (I know that seems small but that’s an important detail in an airbnb!)

We visited to hit a horse race & visit a few spots on the Bourbon Trail. Host was responsive & how great is it to be able to bring your fur baby with you. There is a nice area in the back that is fenced in. She even provided some essentials for your dogs in case you forgot them (leash, bed, poop bags, etc).

Cozy is the perfect word for this place! So much character, we felt right at home. Travis had supplied basically any amenity we could have needed.

Great place to stay. Feel like you’re far away from town but it’s really not far. Very hilly terrain to get there but so beautiful.

Great place to stay! We spent the days at Interlake State Recreation area (25 minutes away) and spent the evenings here. Host was friendly and the house was clean! No issues with our trip

It was perfect. Very relaxing, close to everything, and still very peaceful. The cottage was breathtaking and it made you feel at home.

This was a perfect place for two old friends to have a mini-reunion. An immaculately clean “cozy cottage” on a quit street near a pretty park for walking. Thank you Brandon and Tyler for creating and sharing this great space.

This our 3rd time staying at the Cottage on Kirkwood. We love everything about this little gem. We were able to walk to all bars and restaurants, as it is close to downtown. The inside is pristine and cozy and beautifully decorated. Beds are very comfy and we love the rustic kitchen and painted floors. Cyndi is the perfect host…very accommodating and responsive. We can’t wait to stay again.

What an amazing place! April’s property is beautiful, right at the edge of a lake. The location is secluded and serene—perfect if you are looking for a break from it all. The home had everything we wanted, the kitchen was well-equipped, the bathrooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. We are so glad to have found this gem, and hope to stay again!

We loved our stay! We were only here for a short time but this had everything we needed. The cottage was exactly as described. Clean, fully stocked, safe, and the location is stunning. We went for a walk in the morning and there were beautiful views everywhere you looked. The hosts were very responsive. If we are ever back this way, this is the only place we’d stay. A breath of fresh air!!

As always it was peaceful, and the property was wonderful. we have stayed here before, and will be returning in the future.

Beautifully nestled deep in the countryside, our stay in this home was like entering a forgotten era. Each room full of vintage & antiques. Outside the nickers of the horses echoed from their barn and they did visit occasionally. (They appreciated some cut apples). We did grill some chicken on the deck one evening as the sun casted silhouettes on the hill tops. STUNNING VIEW! Using the fire pit was also nice on the chilly nights. We met the Calico kitty, and she really was a great addition to our stay as we already were missing our own pets back home. We got her some treats and nick named her, "Miss Little Paws". She didn't seem to mind and followed us everywhere! Our mission in KY was to see The Ark Encounter. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! We also visited the KY Horse Park in LEX and did some thrifting nearby. We ABSOLUTELY would come back & also recommend as a 5 star! *****

The cabin WAY exceeded our expectations and turned into one of our favorite Airbnb stays we’ve had. The cabin was new and spacious inside and the property was beautiful and quiet. Would love to come back and bring family to stay at the other places on their property
