Barn accommodation in Southern Indiana

This was the perfect location for a peaceful getaway, but close enough to easily enjoy the things Louisville has to offer! I visited with 2 dogs and the barn was the perfect size for us- complete with a beautiful porch and a fenced yard. Anne was very responsive and accommodating as my plans changed. I would highly recommend this location, and would stay again if passing through Louisville.

We have stayed at The Farm a few times and it never disappoints. Stunning property, beautiful accommodations all just a few minutes from DePauw University. We had our extended family with us for graduation and everything was perfect. Lots of space and the wrap around porch is our favorite spot! Can’t wait to stay again.

Nearly 40 of us loved the space. Golf, volleyball, kickball, fishing, elk - plenty to keep kids busy without worries of roaming. Dave stopped to check on us and Wendy helped fix a minor issue. Highly recommend because we are going back next year!

Stayed here with a group of five and we had a great time! The house is super spacious inside, with even more room to enjoy outdoors. We might have had a little too much fun—one of us might have ended in the hospital (but hey, it’s not a party if that doesn’t happen, right?). Robert was a great host—very responsive and kind throughout our stay. Overall it was a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Kentucky!

My husband and I spent the weekend at Sherry’s place for our 30th wedding anniversary. The farm, the lodge and our room was all very peaceful and cozy. We met Cindy upon our arrival and she welcomed us to the farm, showed us around and answered any questions we had. Her enthusiasm for the farm and all it had to offer showed. Everything we needed was there PLUS all kinds of extras. I was wowed by the attention to detail in all the little extras. We had coffees and snacks in the room and there were even Samores kits put together in the kitchen area for guests. There was wood by the fire pits, lighters, fire starter fluid and even cardboard ready to start a fire. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap dispenser was also in the shower in our room. Both Sherry and Cindy checked on us during our stay through texts. All of this AND we were literally minutes away from French Lick Casino and all the town has to offer. We definitely recommend and would stay here again.

We wanted to try something different, so staying above a horse barn covered that for sure! Beautiful farm, very well maintained. The Loft had all the amenities you could need. The barn cats greeted us every morning on our way out for the day. It was great to see the horses grazing in the pastures. This is truly a quiet, serene place to stay. We drove to the surrounding areas for shopping, golf and dining. The roads are very hilly, but navigating around the area was easy. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is a great place to stay!

The 1938 Barn was a wonderfully secluded peaceful getaway. The barn is full of charm and the bedroom apartment is comfy and clean. Brianna has done a great job renovating the old barn into a lovely stay. We had a fun time playing pool, enjoying the views, and being offline for a short while.

This property is the perfect get away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Plentiful wildlife to sit out on the porches to watch or, as we did, walking around the property. We had the 2 bedroom unit and it was immaculate in cleanliness and comfortably furnished. It was in the 90s on the days we stayed, the air conditioning was perfect. Sandy, the caretaker, left us her number and checked that we didn't need anything whenever she saw us. We definitely will be back!

Unique cabin, beautiful countryside, large space for guests to spread out

This is my second time starting at Billy’s place and I’ve loved it both times. Sitting on the porch and listening to the sounds of nature and watching the wildlife was rejuvenating for the soul. I saw two deer in the evening and was visited by a hummingbird in the morning! The space was clean and comfortable and well stocked on all the essentials. Billy is a very thoughtful host!

We travel into Louisville frequently to visit family and the farmhouse is a favorite place to stay! The decor is beautiful and being from Louisville, we especially love the historic photos. With plenty of space, the layout also provides for privacy if desired. Hosts are topnotch and caring, and their attention to our needs far exceeded our expectations. Our visits tend to be busy, so it's always calming to drive the rural route back to the farm, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings there.

The best airbnb we have ever stayed at. Ellen and Jim renovated the barn into a beautiful, perfectly appointed Loft. The layout is perfect for 2 couples or a family. Everything is new and clean. The beds are very comfortable. The showers are warm with plenty of water pressure and the shower floor...brilliant. The kitchen is fully equpped. There are plenty of towels and linens. The decor is warm amd perfectly suited yo the Loft The setting is peaceful. We loved sitting on the deck, watching the cows. Ellen and Jim are wonderful, thoughtful hosts. They left snacks, coffee. milk, creamer, and breakfast items. Bonus: We got to meet their sweet lab, Beans. Dog fix!

Our group had a fantastic weekend. The setting was so peaceful and relaxing. Although we wish the weather had been better, we were still able to enjoy that beautiful pool. We spent almost the entire weekend outside at the pool or on the covered back porch. No one wanted to leave. This was my first time to this area and I was very impressed. Thanks for making our “cousin weekend” a huge success.

The land surrounding this property is beautiful, loved the drive in. Had everything you could possibly want to keep you entertained during your stay, between your planned activities.

It is an enriching and inspiring experience at this accommodation. I had an incredible time. I was able to connect with nature. I was inspired for my life by the example I received when seeing such a wonderful and organized place. Without a doubt, I will return. Stephanie is a great host.

Privately located and large home & property. Located on the river and provide a nice view. The property had plenty of walking and hiking areas available. It was convenient back into town. A nice place to stay and accommodate our large group.

This barndo was so nice! It was very clean and decorated so nicely. The king bed was comfortable and the shower felt wonderful. Many small details that really makes this space special! It is located between Lebanon and Campbellsville making it a short drive to either. Very convenient for us, we will be back!

Your place was absolutely amazing. The perfect old country home. The beds were super comfortable the kitchen has everything you need. The fire pit is an awesome perk to the property. I asked about going fishing and they were able to give me fantastic directions and we were able to catch some fish. I will definitely stay again when we come next year. Thank you so much for your hospitality and all your help during our trip.

This place is in pristine condition!! The living quarters were squeaky clean and we felt right at home. The pictures truly don’t do it justice! Don’t pass this one up!
