Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

The cabin is 20km from Helsinki city center. The bus stop to Helsinki is 500m from the cabin. It is located next to the sea and has its own dock from where you can fish or take a dip into the sea. There is a sofa bed, a fireplace and a small kitchen, smart tv and wifi, a wood burning sauna and a loft with a double bed. Toaster, coffee brewer, Nespresso machine, a rowing boat and microwave is also available. The cottage is 27 sqm so it is best suited for one or two persons.

Rockhouse is hand-built from local wood. The cabin is a warm cabin equipped with amenities on a rock in the middle of nature and forest animals. The terrace overlooks about 4 km from the lake in the direction of the sunset. Separate landscape sauna and glazed atmospheric barbeque hut on the terrace. Cosy countryside cottage in the middle of nowhere. Cottage is located in same yard where the hosts home is. 15km to Riihimäki and 75km to Helsinki. Fully equipped kitchen with running water (both hot and cold water). Sauna in a separate building, built in 1930's. No shower there but traditional bucket shower works. Outdoor toilet. Four beds and one crib for baby. Good place for some hiking, biking and relaxing.

We offer our lovely guesthouse with sauna and a hot tub to Helsinki area visitors who appreciate nature, privacy and maybe a round of golf- we are located right by the 12th green of Kullo Golf and 40km from Helsinki centre.
