This place is just amazing. So peaceful and beautiful. The horses are so friendly and feel very comfortable. The jacuzzi was the best part. Very private and to soak and relax in such surroundings made it great. Kimberley was very quick to respond and if we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay again.

My wife had stayed here before and thoroughly enjoyed it. That’s what prompted us to stay this time. We only had the ability to stay one night, but it was nice and comfortable. It is definitely quiet.

Rita was truly one of the most amazing hosts we’ve ever had! My mom and I feel so lucky to have stayed with her. Her warmth, kindness, and all the thoughtful personal touches made us feel completely at home. The bed was absolute heaven—seriously one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. I even asked her for the mattress brand because I’d love to get one for myself! She was also so kind to recommend one of her favorite restaurants, Bar Lou, where we celebrated my daughter’s UCSB graduation dinner. It was the perfect spot and made the occasion even more special. Rita’s home was beautiful and peaceful, with birds singing in the morning and such a relaxing atmosphere all around. We wish we had more time to explore the area, but even in a short stay, it was a truly lovely and memorable experience. This is the perfect place to unwind, reset, and nourish the soul. We can’t wait to return!

We had an incredible stay at this serene Airbnb nestled in the vineyards. The location was absolutely perfect—peaceful, private, and surrounded by natural beauty, yet just a short drive to both Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo. It was the ideal balance of relaxation and easy access to coastal activities, wineries, and charming downtown spots. The home itself was spotless and thoughtfully designed, with cozy touches that made it feel warm and welcoming. Waking up to vineyard views and enjoying a cup of coffee on the patio was such a treat. The hosts were responsive and kind, providing helpful recommendations for local dining and things to do in the area.

We booked The Barn for our wedding weekend and really enjoyed staying here! I loved the stone shower and the high ceilings, the kitchen was beautiful and it was very spacious. The windows offered panoramic views and our friends were giddy with excitement about the cowgirl decor. We felt right at home! Christine, thank you so much for saving my bouquet for me. I’ve never had a host do something so kind for me and it meant a lot. To anyone else reading I highly recommend the Barn if you’re looking for somewhere to relax and unplug :)

We rented Grace's place for a meeting of our non-profit. It was perfect for our large group. Lots of bedrooms and baths for everyone and the kitchen and sitting areas accommodated us nicely. We didn't really have time to take advantage of the barn activities, but I'm sure it would have been great. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, glasses and cutlery for a large crowd. Grace was very friendly and responsive. She went above and beyond trying to solve an issue that occurred through no fault of her own. Would definitely return.

Skip and Lara were amazing hosts. The place was peaceful and beautiful. we enjoyed picking fresh oranges, grapefruit, and lemons and Lara gave us fresh avocados from their field. Our kids really enjoyed seeing the animals and going to the pool. Skip and Lara were very friendly and helpful hosts. We stayed for 5 nights and could stay a few more days. thank you Skip and Lara.

The host was very responsive and quick to answer. He was very flexible when we had to adjust our reservation. Great location, just off the main road with so many winery’s. One thing I would note is that the space only had blinds. The windows in front of the bed were very bright and did not block much light so I was woken up very early by the sun. Just a personal preference if you struggle to sleep without enough darkness.

Great place to stay. Host is so nice, communication is excellent, very friendly and making sure all is at the right place. Place is clean, original to stay at and worth every penny of it. I would definitely come back!

Well located guest house near Ballard on the back corner of a large property. Very private and clean. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Super cute place, great location. Walking distance to the zoo and relatively close to any restaurants and the main town. The owners were really responsive and super accomodating when illness ruined our initial plans. It was a great stay. Thank you so much for having us!

This place is paradise. From stepping inside to meeting our host, it was everything and more than expected! This is truly a treasure. Quiet, peaceful, and truly enjoyable. If I could give this place 10 plus stars I would. We truly enjoyed it. It was comfortable and felt like a home. We will truly miss this area. Mike and Stacy are wonderful and responded quickly to any questions we may have had. They gave us recommendations to local stores. They thought of every detail which made our visit even easier.

Beautiful place to stay if you’re looking for a rustic experience but close enough to local attractions and experiences. The barn was amazing and slept a large amount of people which was perfect for what we needed. The house was clean, well kept, and very convenient. The property manager was kind enough to take time out of her day and stop by while working the property to point out some of her favorite parts of the property and surrounding ranches. All in all everyone in the group had a blast and couldn’t stop saying how much it reminded them of being on the set of yellowstone. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat and can’t wait to plan another trip (just as an excuse to stay at the barn again)

It’s hard to put into words how incredible this place is…peaceful, beautiful and absolute perfection! You feel like you are in a relaxing, quiet little slice of heaven but are only minutes away from so much. Every little detail had been thought of, including the kindest extras from Natalie and Glen, who are the most incredible hosts! If you appreciate kind, genuinely friendly people, and feeling like you are home away from home, you will love staying here. This place is a dream! (I never wanted to leave…actually brought my mother by after check out to admire the beauty of this peaceful setting ❤️)

We enjoyed a very quiet and peaceful weekend at Anthony’s place. Anthony was very accommodating of our service dogs and provided a lot of excellent local recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Anthony’s place has some quirks, but nothing he didn’t prepare us for and nothing that took away from the quality of our stay. The “house within a house” concept was awesome. Coffee and games in the outer shell in the morning was great. We also loved hanging on the balcony and taking in the beautiful view. The area is very quiet and every neighbor we walked by with the dogs was friendly. Definitely recommend Anthony’s place to anyone looking for a zen-like stay, but with all the modern amenities that make our lives easier.

Our stay at The Foal House was absolutely wonderful. The barndominium was so charming—every detail was thoughtfully curated, and it was clear that a lot of care went into creating a welcoming space. Cynthia had fresh-picked lemons, oranges, and herbs waiting for us upon arrival, which was such a lovely touch. Although it’s a bit of a drive out into the country, Cynthia made sure we were well aware in advance. The drive itself was beautiful, and once we arrived, the peaceful, serene setting made it more than worth it. The home was spotless, the kitchen was fully equipped for any kind of cooking we wanted to do, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. If we’re ever back in the area, we would absolutely love to stay here again!

Casa de Granero in Santa Ysabel was the perfect rustic and charming getaway for our family’s New Year’s Eve. Richard and Elizabeth, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The house was warm, beautifully decorated, and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen that made meal prep a joy. We also loved the outdoor grill and firepit, perfect for gathering under the stars. On New Year’s Day, my parents and little niece and nephew had a blast playing with the goats—a unique and delightful experience! There’s also a lovely walk to a scenic viewpoint where you can take in breathtaking views of the Cleveland Forest and Lake Cuyamaca in the distance. It’s a perfect spot for a weekend escape!
