the host is very friendly and the place is private and quite, suitable for stay, but not suitable for cooking, no cover for a single small pan.

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! It's so quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees. There are also nice hiking trails nearby! The hosts were super friendly. I was greeted when I got to their property, and they were quick to respond to any questions I had. The cabin was so quaint and comfortable! I recommend this place if you want a quiet getaway!

Clean and comfortable property in a beautiful location. I enjoyed my stay at Puppet Inn. The rooms were exactly as described and pictured in the listing. The property was very clean and orderly. All of the Pinocchio and Disney theming was fun. I appreciated the guest guide with instructions for things around the home, plus a ton of recommendations for local businesses, restaurants and activities. Located close to the town and very convenient for Ray’s woodworking class. Thank you Ray and Marisa for a great stay!

The lofts in Downieville are airy, clean, and well-outfitted. The bed is comfortable, and the queen fold-out in the living room worked well. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. Downieville is our favorite place to visit in California and Sonya's lofts offer everything you need for a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

Eli’s place was perfect for my needs while working on the American River. I needed a quiet place to shower, eat, do some computer work, and sleep after long days in the sun and water. I stayed for 5 nights and it was exactly what I was looking for.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a mountain biking getaway and absolutely loved it! The home was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and welcoming. One of our favorite parts was the beautiful outdoor lighting at night, which created a magical atmosphere among the trees. The location couldn’t be more convenient, and check-in was quick and seamless. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon!

Very new, very comfortable, close to everything you need, beautiful neighborhood. As mentioned in other reviews it is a little loud at times but if you just shut the window it blocks out all of the outside noise. The town has a noise ordinance at night but they need one in the morning ! Kitchen has everything we needed to cook breakfast and have coffee and tea. John is a great host and made it very easy for use to enjoy the beauty and rich history of Nevada city. Cheers !

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Our boys loved the upstairs room with the two twin beds (although if they were smaller I might have worried about them on the stairs, as there is no railing for the last several steps). We loved the cozy fireplace and the hot tub, and enjoyed not having to use our car at all once we arrived— plenty to see and do in walking distance, including a nice park for the dog and kids. Spent a nice and relaxing girls weekend here. This stay is definitley somones home and not just an off the shelf air bnb stay. it had everything we needed and more, including a pre heated hot tub, robes, plush towels and some of the most comfortable beds!! We would most definatley stay here or at any of Ben's other listing's.

Amazing place to stay.. I would stay here again without hesitation. Beautiful and very peaceful!! Home was spotless and plenty of towels and linen. Everything was absolutely perfect with plenty of room for 5 people. The only downside was we didn’t get to see yogi or boo boo.. Maybe next time!!

Our last minute one night booking on an epic road trip through Northern California made for great memories drinking wine and watching the sunset from the deck, enjoying some quiet time in the hot tub underneath a beautiful oak tree, and trying to identify constellations in the clear night sky. My only wish is that we were able to stay longer, make some fancy coffees with all their gadgets, and use the firepit to its full s’mores potential! Make sure you stop at the store before you arrive- but after that everything you need is at this adorable Airbnb!

We had a wonderful stay. Karmin was extremely responsive and the home was set up perfect for traveling with our pooch.

This was the perfect place for a group. We celebrated Christmas in the 4 bed 2 bath country home. We loved the fire pit and natural surroundings. Everything was spotless and high quality. Huge laundry room and most of the rooms are large. Oscar’s hospitality was excellent and we couldn’t be happier. A good value if you want to get away in the Northern California countryside.
