The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

Beccles by the river: the perfect location

Semi-detached one bedroom Cottage with views over the river. Situated 1 minutes walk to the Beccles open air heated public swimming pool and only 3 minutes walk to the vibrant town centre and river. Accommodation is on three levels with a large double bedroom, kitchen diner leading to the shower room and toilet, and lounge area containing a double sofa-bed. Located on the edge of an attractive South Norfolk village, The Snug is a self-contained annex in part of a 17th Century Cottage. The village shop is a short walk away and the centre of Norwich is only a 20 minute drive. This area is popular with cyclists due to the quiet routes and a host of cycle friendly cafes. The Old Forge is a delightful semi-detached cottage. The cottage is set in the peaceful village of Brome, in the Suffolk countryside on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. The Old Forge has its own private garden and parking for two cars. There are three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 and two are on the first floor, one with a kingsize bed and one with twin single beds.
