Pet-friendly holiday rentals in South Haven

A wonderful place to stay for a 2-day getaway! Walking distance to the beautiful downtown of Saugatuck with cute shops and plenty of restaurants! So quiet and relaxing.

My wife and I have stayed at many vacation home rentals over the years, this one was one of the very best! First, I booked they house late afternoon on the day we wanted to arrive. Sarah responded immediately, accepted our booking and got me the access code to the property. It was all done within a few minutes! The house was beautifully decorated (my wife loved it and she is a designer!), well appointed and located very conveniently to all of the places we wanted to spend our time. We loved the hot tub, used the sauna almost every morning and our Golden Doodle loved the big fenced in back yard. Sarah and Brady are unbelievably responsive to needs too! One evening we wanted to enjoy the fire pit, but they were out of fire starters. I contacted Sarah at 7:36p, she responded at 7:37p and by 7:51 Brandy had already dropped a box of fire starters on the front porch! What?!?!?! Amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this place, we will be back!

Great peaceful location to stay while visiting the Saugatuck, Holland, and South Haven areas. Easy drive to wineries and surrounding locations. Property is wooded and private which adds to the experience. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen for cooking meals, and all amenities met our expectations. Owners are super responsive and share a love of using a label maker to help guest with quickly adapting to a new home during the stay.

Megan’s house was so convenient for exploring the area. We appreciated the peaceful setting slightly outside the busy part of town. Everything was clean and as described. We appreciated Megan providing some local recommendations, too!

We had an amazing time staying here for our joint Bachelor/Bachelorette weekend! It is a beautiful property that comfortably fit all 13 of us! We miss it already! It was a great time :)

Very clean, cute, and well stocked! We were just there for one evening, but enjoyed our stay. We did have to cross a highway to walk to downtown and there were no sidewalks for part of the walk which was a bit tricky with kids, but doable!

What a wonderful stay our family had in Michiana Shores, Indiana at Greg’s place. Even though 2 of the 3 days were mostly overcast / rain, there was still plenty of activities to do. We hung out in the pool & hot tub areas multiple times, had a fire every night, and cooked all 3 meals each day in the wonderfully maintained kitchen. The kids loved their room setup with the bunk bed and twin bed. The parks nearby are lovely. The backyard was very luscious with tranquility full of greenery and peacefulness. Greg was very responsive and helped us out with questions before and during our stay. Definitely would recommend this spot if you are wanting to take a vacation near the nationally known Indiana Sand Dunes. Overall 5+ stars!

Unbelievable stay with 6 adults, 4 kids. Fully stocked house, with everything you could ever need. Pristine bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds. Kitchen was huge and pool/outdoor BBQ and amenities were great. A 2-minute walk to the beach, and close drive to Saugatuck and downtown for restos. Highly recommend

This was by far the best lodging accommodations I've ever had! Sandy Shores, was SPOTLESS! I am a bit of a neat freak and it takes a lot for me to say this. I can't speak more highly of this place. It was a great space and had EVERYTHING you could think- they even supplied laundry detergent pods! Something most places with washers and dryers never offer. The Juniper staff were also lovely to work with and were super accommodating. They were very quick with replies as well. The location was also excellent, 10 minute walk to Newcome Beach entrance. I will 100% be back in the off season again as it is a higher price during peak summer season. Thanks Sandy Shores for a wonderful little getaway!

We had a lovely family reunion at St Joe’s overlook. Kitchen came with literally everything- all sorts of cooking instruments (crock pot, air fryer, toaster etc), spices/oils, and zip lock bags for leftovers. All brand new appliances and ample prep space. We got the pool heated and it was wonderful! Very large size to fit all the family kids. The hot tub was a nice save for the adults who were freezing. Beautiful views from the living room of the river with ample and comfy seating. The home was perfect for a large gathering. We appreciate Evan and Claire hosting us they were always responsive and helpful.

Lovely home, many well thought out perks like fans in upstairs rooms and beach toys for kids! Info said it was an easy short walk to beach so I spent a whole lot more than I usually would. With children it would not be pleasant and is really not a short walk (and is on a semi busy road) & beach is down a whole lot of steps. BUT there are parking spaces so it was fine. Within the house, the steps are fairly steep at parts & there are 2?big ones going into house &!these were hard for my 70 year old mom w knee issues. So if person reading reviews is one of those people, this might not be THE place. That being said, it is very short walk to community pool & host is very responsive & house is beautiful! My mom mostly stayed within first floor including an awesome bed/bath on ground floor. There are games (although I didn’t love the Ouija board 🫣😂) . This would be a great place for multiple family / friends to split cost ;) Its very beautiful & community pool & hot tub are great!

This is our 5th year of vacationing in New Buffalo and have stayed at Missy's place on 3 of those visits! The house works beautifully for our family (7 adults and 4 kids under 6 yo) and you're never tripping over each other, which makes it so relaxing! We'll be back!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s house! It was clean, great location & cozy! We especially loved the automatic pool cover so we could actually relax on vacation with our little ones running around. I also loved the three separate areas outside (pool, fire pit, grassy area). The separate areas offered a nice change of scenery to break up the day without leaving the house. I also loved that it’s a spacious ranch style house, so was easy to keep eyes on the kids. Jennifer was a wonderful & accommodating host & can’t wait to get back to her house soon! Thanks for having us!

We loved our stay at Robyn’s nest! It was quaint, quiet, and so close to everything. It was nice to park the car and leave it for our stay as well, super convenient. Robyn was super responsive and clear on her directions and made the stay seamless. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy their time in Saugatuck!

Such a great place to stay as a family! Right next to the pool, lots of helpful things like sand toys and beach chairs. Jason and Claire always responded very quickly and gave us some great local recommendations. Really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect private cabin in the woods. It is far enough from downtown Saugatuck to avoid traffic but close enough that we could easily run back to relieve the dog when needed. About 7 minutes from downtown Saugatuck. There were so many amenities we didn't get to use (ran out of time), but were super nice to see like the fire pit and the sauna. It is super private and very well hidden. Maybe too well hidden. My only gripe regarding our stay was the initial finding of the driveway LOL. It looks more like a trail and it is RIGHT after the guardrail nearby. But hey, you can guarantee no one will stumble upon your private stay. The interior of this studio cabin was gorgeous and super clean. Overall, we ran out of time to explore all of Saugatuck and we will definitely be using this place again the next time we visit.

Robert's airbnb located inside Kal Haven Outpost was absolutely incredible. My husband and I stayed in the couple's cabin along with our 2 fur babies. It was everything we wanted. The cabin had wonderful amenities: large windows, good lighting, AC/heater, a grill, a fireplace, and an outdoor table. The location was exactly as described. Robert was amazing and communication was top-tier. Robert was quick to answer any questions I had. The community bathrooms were very well kept. I saw Robert and his crew cleaning them every morning. You can tell that the people who run this place are very passionate about what they do. 10/10 highly recommend.

Perfect spot near the beach and walking distance from town. The home was the perfect size, super cute, and had everything we needed for our short stay.

This is one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever been in. It was super clean and well appointed. I’m in awe of all of the labeled items, beautifully, white towels, well appointed kitchen, and more. All of the improvements that they have made, are spectacular. The inside was amazing and the grounds were lovely. I absolutely loved the screened in porch and the views are incredible. The house is on the lake and has stairs to the beach. The stairs are not for the weak of heart. The agency was fabulous to work with. Answered lots of questions and were super helpful. I would definitely come here again and can’t wait to!
