Holiday rentals with lake access in South Coast

The place is even better in real life! Such a idillic little house. Property manager paddy was fantastic also. Will be back!

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Berowra Waters Glass House. The property is stunning, nestled right on the water with breathtaking views that made every moment feel like a retreat. From fishing off the deck to kayaking and taking the boat out, there was never a dull moment- just pure relaxation and adventure in equal measure. George was fantastic and was prompt with communicating with us from early stages of the booking process. What truly set our stay apart was Patrick, the wonderful property manager. His warm welcome and wealth of local knowledge made our trip even more special. He had fantastic recommendations for things to do, and his friendly nature added to the overall experience. If you're looking for a unique escape surrounded by natural beauty, with great activities right at your doorstep, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best airbnbs me and my husband have stayed at. The views are incredible from any room of the house. sunrise and sunset views are both amazing 😻. Very close to the town. Had a lot of amenities. Love the bath 🛁 Very close to the narrows if you are looking to hire a boat. Sean’s place provided a picnic basket perfect to take out for boat ride or beach picnic 😍

Slavica’s place was great with nice water views of Lake Illawarra. The place had heaps of space to entertain 4 adults and 3 kids and had everything we needed for a nice weekend away. The one issue we encountered was we found the top floor very hot on the first night (particularly with very young kids). We needed to contact Slavica to unlock the sliding doors to get some air flow through, as the fans provided weren’t enough and there isn’t air con. Slavica was extremely responsive and was able to send a neighbour to rectify extremely quickly. I’d definitely stay again.

This was a really great place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to book there again. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed and centrally located….highly recommend!

We stayed at the Boathouse for 3 nights whilst visiting relatives and had a really lovely experience. I visited with my mother and 2 year old daughter and we found the house to be exceptionally clean and well appointed, with lots of space. The location is fantastic and so close to amenities. We also appreciated the quiet neighbourhood and had a peaceful time. The management of the home is excellent and everything has been considered from coffee pods to beach towels and board games. Overall we loved our stay and thought this home was fabulous value. We would love to come back soon!

We had a very relaxing stay at Anne's place. We enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring the river. The beds were really comfortable and quality linen and towels were provided. It was great having an espresso machine to make coffees every morning. Anne and Nez are great hosts! Thank you 😊

wonderful location - just across road from beautiful beach and lovely lake. Studio had everything you could want for a beach side holiday including beach towels, games, sunscreen 😳 excellent quality linen and towels. Cheryl provided lovely welcome treats too - very friendly helpful hosts.... would definitely recommend.

Was a great place to stay. With Woolies and restaurants just downstairs was very convenient. The amenities were also fantastic, a pool, kids room, theatre, amazing views from the rooftop. Jessica was always very responsive. Wouldnt hesitate to stay here again next time we visit Canberra.

Perfect location and easy to get to everything. Walks and a swim at Bar Beach every morning was a great way to start the day. Stunning views of the Lake. Paul & Helen's cottage made for a perfect location for my birthday weekend with my partner. Paul made sure he met us on arrival, and showed us around the cottage. We've stayed in many air bnb's and this kind of accommodation was so polished, where other stays have missed. The information booklet was extremely thorough, we loved the welcome basket full of local sweets and treats, and the special touch of the welcome sign. All amenities were in tiptop condition, modern and simply lovely. Try and have breakfast outside, as it's lovely to hear the morning birds singing! Thank You, Shanti & Dean.

Loved our stay at Steve’s cottage. Great location, walking distance to Katoomba Main Street. Very clean and cosy. Loved the fireplace. Will definitely book again when back in the Blue Mountains.

This cottage is one of three that share the same block, with shared driveway and utility room with washer / dryer. The rest of the space is fully self contained. This unit is directly opposite the beach. You can see the sea from the front step and it’s a 3 minute walk to local shops. The unit has just had a beautiful upgrade and the look and feel is lovely. A lot of care has been taken to make the most of a compact space and it feels like a luxe retreat. Quality of fixtures & furnishings is lovely. Nice bed linen, towels etc. Sharp knives, good glasses - it feels like a lot of effort has been made to make it feel special. The cabin has full glass frontage that has four blinds for privacy, but can feel very ‘open’ in the daytime - I would imagine it could get quite hot in the height of summer. For a couple, for a special break by the coast this place is just perfect. Would highly recommend for a beach escape.

We had a beautiful weekend away at Cox’s cottage. It was so quiet and the views, especially at sunset, were unreal. It was a great escape from the city to unwind for a few days! The cottage itself is so charming and Jeremy and Annette were very responsive.

What an amazing place. The cottage was clean and incredibly comfortable. Tobi's communication was excellent & we really enjoyed the delicious home baked biscuits left for us. The house backs onto the lake and we enjoyed the basin walk alongside the lake. The house is private, quiet and peaceful. We even had the pleasure of waking up to a beautiful mob of kangaroos resting on the back lawn. We enjoyed our breakfast with them. They weren't phased by us at all. We can't wait to return for another peaceful getaway.

We enjoyed staying at this place. The amenities within the place are amazing and well thought. Simone is also very helpful in giving recommendations of places to visit in the area.

Brendan’s shack is as beautiful and peaceful as all the other reviews describe it. The garden is particularly stunning with an amazing collection of Banksias. We also went kayaking multiple times in the river and mountain biking in Termil Forest over the highway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

We stayed at the Dairy for our anniversary/babymoon and it was such a relaxing and peaceful experience. Patty was a generous, we were greeted with local cheese and wine on our first day and she even made us a complimentary breakfast on our third day. Communication with patty was great and timely, and checked in on us to make sure we were always comfortable. The gardens were beautifully kept and even with the rainy weather was a great view.
