Very beautiful house. Peaceful, relaxing and pleasant. Our stay went well. Xavier was available by phone and sent us tips for walks via email. It was very appreciated. To be done again with great pleasure

I had a lovely Christmas with friends, in this well-located and very clean house. Joël and Pascale are very nice and give good information about the area. We'll be happy to go back.

Nyree and Jeff were the perfect hosts and their home in Proissans is just idyllic. We had 6 wonderful days there and wished we’d booked longer. The setting is so beautiful, the gite is lovely, cosy and well appointed, we loved the animals and the pool, and Nyree and Jeff were so kind and welcoming. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas and Nyree and Jeff made some great recommendations including canoeing along the dordogne and a visit to Chateau des Milandes. We would 100% recommend a stay and hope to return again next year.

i think I've never rented such a clean place and what a pleasure! The house matches the description and even better than the photos. The kitchen equipment is top notch. We felt right at home and it's not easy! Quiet house but shops are 5 minutes away by car. We found the hot tub nice to spend the new year. Thanks to Pauline for his availability and hospitality. Relaxing and refreshing family stay. Do it again in summer for this time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

What a fabulous gite in a wonderful location to explore the best of the Dordogne. 10 minutes from Terrasson, a beautiful old town on the river, spoilt for choice for great restaurants… or simple chilled evenings taking in the views. Jenny (& Fleur) is the perfect host, going above and beyond to ensure you have a perfect stay. Not intrusive but if you a fancy a glass of wine she will be on hand! (thank you for ours) We would return in a heartbeat and hopefully soon. Would highly recommend.

We had a very nice stay with Sofie and Irm. After a long drive, we arrived very late in the evening, in the dark. Nevertheless, we were received with great kindness by Sofie and we immediately saw: this is a beautiful place. The gite is equipped with all comforts, is super clean and very nicely decorated. The grounds are very large, beautiful and definitely worth exploring. Monpazier is within walking distance with many good restaurants. Sofie and Irm are very sweet hosts. They are always up for a chat, give valuable tips, and gave us fresh eggs every few days. You can really see that they enjoy hosting guests and making them feel comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at april and max’s (4 adults and a 1 and 4 year old). The house is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of lovely places a short drive away. April and Max were such warm and kind hosts - we had a minor incident with one of our children while on holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed with great facilities - we felt it was better in real life than the pictures. We would definitely return if coming back to the area 😊

Beautiful place to stay if you plan to come to the Lot. The house is very beautiful, decorated with great taste and very well equipped. Birdie was very available and responded favourably to all our requests. The garden is very pleasant for dinner in the evening. We will definitely come back here if we return to the area.

We felt very comfortable, everything was as described Christine is a very warm hostess, we even received a gift at the reception, a wonderful environment, also directly at the house Our dogs also felt very comfortable and we would come back anytime.

Very pleasant stay in this small cottage, very well furnished, with everything, including food! Very discreet hosts but very attentive to well-being. Peaceful and serene setting that we will be happy to return to on a future trip!

We stayed a week in gite des Mathieves. A beautiful gite on the edge of the cozy campsite. Own garden with hammock, BBQ and plenty of privacy. Birds, butterflies, all kinds of insects that we could look at for hours. Occasionally, the 2 cats came to visit. Everything present in the gite and very clean. Everything was thought of. There were even delicious natural scents in the bathroom. Sarlat 7 km from the campsite. Very cozy city with many restaurants. On Saturday, when there is a market, it is very busy. Then it is wonderful to return to the tranquility of the gite. On one of the outer walls was written: "I am zen". Well, we certainly were after that week. Longer next time!

We had such a wonderful week staying at The Walnut Gite. Caroline and Jerry were fantastic hosts giving us lots of super recommendations and always on hand to answer any questions. The location is stunning and perfect for a family get away with the dog, with plenty of nearby attractions but far enough away for peace and quiet. The gite is beautifully decorated with anything and everything you might need during the stay. Highly recommend and we’ll be back for sure.

We had a pleasant stay in Caroline and Bruno's charming house, in the heart of Cahors. What a pleasure to have coffee in the courtyard under the eyes of the neighborhood cats!

Very nice place, surrounded by nature. The accommodation was beautiful and you can sleep with the window open and the sound of cicadas. Jean-François is very welcoming.

Staying with Carl and Tara was a highlight of our road trip. Too much to say in a little review like this, but suffice it to say, you won’t regret staying here 1 bit. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Karen and Steve were great hosts. Very helpful and informative but at the same time discreet and unimposing. The little gite was lovely, very homely with a really comfy bed. It was within easy reach of towns such as Montignac, les Eyzies and Sarlet. A great spot for discovering the Dordogne and for relaxing at the end of the day.

Such an amazing host, really helpful and quick to support. Property is incredible and let us be right at home. Stayed here with a young child and was no problem at all. Lots of amenities to help and will be back

Can’t rate this place highly enough! It is the most wonderful place; blissful and beautiful views all so calm and perfect setting. The house is immaculate very clean with lovely interiors, comfortable beds and lovely bedding. If you are looking for a fantastic place that you don’t want to leave this could be it; just perfect. Jean-Xavier is lovely and extremely helpful.

holiday experience was great from start to finish very helpful hosts and set in a very scenic area which was close to the major attractions in the area whether you wanted to explore grottos or chateaus / castles or scenic towns all were within easy reach. welcomed and shown around the property and shown and explained all we needed to know , the use of bikes - bike path right next to property close to villages of les Eyzies and le Bugue 2 person kayak right next to river Vezere - very relaxing paddle on the river not to be missed out. pool area was great and heated with lovely gardens and lots of areas to sit with your morning coffee badminton net and rackets supplied your own barbecue area and every utensil for barbecue or kitchen was supplied first experience with air bnb and the hosts went above and beyond what we expected very pleased many thanks for having us David & Caroline

Successful vacations in this cottage where calm and tranquility reign. The house and equipment are suitable for 4 people. A few kilometers away, SALVIAC and GOURDON offer all the necessary amenities. We had a favorite in the photo for the inner courtyard but we preferred the small space in front of the house where the view is unobstructed and beautiful. We had a few warm days but following Françoise's recommendations, everything went well. Thank you, Françoise, for your sympathy and responsiveness.

This is the second time we've come to Isabelle's and it's still great! Thanks to Isabelle for letting us stay a little later than planned.
