Murli is a polite, attentive and proactive host. We appreciated his kind demeanor, availability for our questions and suggestions for our requests. The property is at a river bank, the food is homely and the staff is helpful. This is a great base in Tirthan valley.

I recently stayed at the dog on the hill that exceeded all my expectations. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their friendly dogs were a delightful bonus, adding to the homely atmosphere with their playful and affectionate nature. The view from the homestay was nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up to stunning landscapes was a highlight of my stay. The environment was serene and picturesque, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the best parts of my experience was the opportunity to make new friends. I met some truly wonderful people during my stay. The combination of a great host, friendly dogs, beautiful views, and new friendships made this homestay an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

This place is simply amazing. It's super clean and the host really thinks about the comforts of her guests. She has put a lot of effort and thought to make sure that every one who visits the cottage will have a memorable time. The views from her cottage of the mountains and river below is simply breathtaking. It's a very peaceful place to stay in. Me and my wife loved it to bits. Looking forward to staying here in the future when we visit Manali again. This place is about 10 km before Manali town. If your looking for place where you can relax and have a nice time, this is the place to be. Cheers!

My two friends and I visited "For a while" in September 2016 and this was certainly one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had in my entire life. The sheer natural beauty of the valley alongwith the warmth of Debapriya, Shalini and the staff at For A While made this a magical experience for us. The attention to detail is hard to miss in this place. Right from the decor of the place to the constant communication by the hosts during our journey to their constant attention to our stated (and unstated) needs....made us feel at home even before we got to the place :) The place can be reached after a bumpy ride during the last stretch (of 2 km)....but it is totally totally worth it. This is perfect for anyone who wants to undergo a digital detox, just be in the lap of nature and experience small joys like climbing hills, walking along the river, collecting wild flowers or just chilling by the cottage with a book. Additionally, we were treated to lip smackingly delicious meals every single day wherein some of the ingredients were freshly grown in the vegetable patch nearby. Our evenings were spent over long conversations with the hosts and musings under a phenomenally starry sky. As if all of this wasnt enough....we actually saw two shooting stars and a rainbow! Such fun! On one of the days we drove up to the Jalori Pass (which is a 3 hour drive from here) and our hosts very thoughtfully packed a picnic basket for us....which we relished when we were starving during our hike. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the hills, valleys and rivers in a rustic and warm space....and rediscover the many joys that can be found by just wandering around :)

We were four families who went together along with kids & a pet. Had a good stay. The host has 7 dogs so had to manage with the timings of walk, which was doable. We got a cottage for ourselves which worked best as it was home away from home.

Harry went head over heels for us. Unfortunately we got sick just as we arrived and most of our stay in Manali were at the hospital. Luckily Harry saved us and helped us with everything from transport in the middle of the night, arranging private drivers, food and offering hiking trips. A very chill place just outside Kasol center, a nice drive and escape from the crowdy center. Highly recommend this place due to harry the man!

If you are coming to the Kullu Valley, forget Manali and Kullu - look no further for the perfect mountain village location than HBA in Naggar! It's a wonderful homestay and great VFM! Lovely accommodation, warm and friendly people, terrific views and the option of many adventures right from your residence! Three of us stayed 4 days. For 2 of us it was a return visit; we found the place even better than our first stay in 2018. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable with clean ensuites, and each had fabulous views. The meals were delicious and served in homely surroundings with lots of fun and laughter. Brighu, Aakansha and staff give faultless service in a low key and friendly manner. We felt absorbed into the family. We were even able to participate in the local mela! A great experience! Brighu is a very experienced trekking guide and this time we took advantage of those skills with a one-day trip to Tandi. Fabulous snow-covered peaks, bracing air and great company! Just come!

Rare combination of hospitality and genuine effort to provide guests with experience they will never forget. Of course the location of the property is something to be seen to believe. Minor inconvenience is somewhat long road drive to Jai,s place from nearest airport or main city but if some one is traveling to enjoy nature then the drive also will take your breath away.

Simran is probably one of the kindest people we’ve met. Her place was absolutely beautiful and we loved every moment of our stay. We were staying within the premises of their great restaurant and everybody at the property was really humble and helpful. Their restaurant has one of the most delicious Italian food that you can ever have. This is definitely somewhere you want to stay, and hate when you have to leave. Best place to stay in Naggar. My cousins, friends, and I were thrilled to be the first Airbnb guests here, and the experience was beyond amazing! Despite the snowfall making it difficult to reach, our incredible host, Surya (Suraj), stayed on call, guiding us patiently until we arrived safely. From the moment we stepped in, the place felt like home. The wooden architecture added charm, but it was the hospitality that truly stood out—warm, genuine, and unforgettable. If you want to understand the real meaning of hospitality, this is the place to be. A huge shoutout to Aayush and Kaka for serving freshly prepared, delicious meals daily (must try HUMMUS and coffee ) with such kindness, laughters, care and jokes. This place is by the river. The entire house is build of wood. Offers beautiful view and the food here is delicious. Hosts are also very comforting.

Location of property and view from rooms are perfect. The rooms are good in size and have all the required amenities. The property is lucky to have a caretaker like Sunil. He's so honest, hardworking and helpful. One can get a bus to Manali or Kullu just from downstairs.

I booked my accommodation with Varun after seeing his reviews on AirBnB and I was not disappointed at all. He is a wonderful host and his family is very gracious, providing information and whatever help they could. I started my trip in Sarahan and cannot recommend a better way to begin your journey through Kinnaur and further. This is definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had in over 25 years of travelling around the country and the world.

My husband & I had a spectacular time at the property. This estate house is located admits the forest & apple orchards. The house is tastefully done up, giving attention to details. The care-taker Rajneesh was extremely sweet & warm. He made our stay very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the lip-smacking home food cooked by Thakur from fish curry to mutton curry to biryani. If you are looking for some time off from your hectic schedules, this is definitely your go-to place. No traffic, no honks, only fresh air & birds chirping! We are definitely going to visit again.
