Huset ligger vakkert til på et gårdstun med andre hus, og består av kjøkken og stue i første etasje, og to soverom og bad i andre. Utemiljøet på gården er godt egnet for barn med blant annet bålplass og lekestativer. Det er nærhet til skog og mark med fine turmuligheter, og bussen til Lillestrøm stopper rett ved gården. Om sommeren kan man låne kano for ferdsel på Lierelva. Urskog fort og Mangenfjellet ligger i kort kjøreavstand fra gården.
