The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen bench, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

Old, but recently renovated smallholding from the late 19th century. In the ground floor it is an entrance, kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. The second floor consist of a big room with the possibility to house many people. It is also a second restroom in this floor. Outside is a lovely garden, and during winter you could put on your cross-country skis and start skiing from the house. Elverum city is just a short 20 min. drive from the house.

The cabin originates from the manual forestry industry occurring on the property in the past. Not far to golf course, go-kart. Refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and microwave. Freezer can be used. Sleeps 5 people. No pets allowed. Bring bed linen and towels or you can rent for NOK 75 per person.
