Have you always wanted to know what it's like to sleep in an old horse stable? Then leave your tent at home, bring your sleeping bag and give it a go! We offer a rustic and simple place to sleep in the middle of nature. We are a small campsite, so you also have the option of using the shower, sink and toilet, as well as a mini kiosk in the sanitary block. The barrel sauna is available for cold evenings (for a fee).

Unlike in the square rooms we are used to, the view can wander unhindered here. You feel welcome, protected and somehow immediately comfortable. You have a small cottage in the old town of Sonneberg. Ideal for hiking. Free street parking. Bus stop and shopping nearby. The small bathroom was modernised in January 2026. Washing machine is available. There is a bedroom with 2 beds. A large double bed and one single bed. A snoring room, also often used as a teen room, can be set up on request. The room has a single bed.
