Cottage on Åsen

Small cottage with charm on Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk uphill from the parking lot. Here there is a simple life without electricity and water. The way up is a nice ride, a bit heavy for some lots. Recommend to go up before dark. Remember good shoes and warm clothes. On top of that, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in the kitchen, sofa bed in the living room. Nice high standard cabin for rent. Located in a small private cottage field with a short distance to Norefjell ski center. Walking and skiing trails in umidellbar. The next village is Noresund. There you find shops and gas station. 1 floor contains hallway, stall, large bathroom with sauna, 1 bedroom with family bunk, (Space for 3), Living room and open kitchen solution. Modern 1-room studio apartment suitable for holiday stay or business travel. The studio is connected to our house, but has it's own private entrance. The house is new and modern, and situated on idyllic Snarøya, known for its beaches and its tranquility while still very close to Oslo. Bus every 12 minutes straight downtown. Bus ride to castle is 25 minutes. Fridge, waterboiler and microwave oven. Linen and towels included. The Oslo fjord is 50 meters away, with beaches and walkpaths very close.

Stay in a traditionally storehouse at a Norwegian farm at Noresund, 100 km and 90 minutes drive from Oslo. Two hours and 155 km drive from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL). This is in the heart of the Norwegian fairytale tradition. It is about 450 meters from the lake and 8 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Norefjell. The high mountains of Norway starts here. The trolls are in the woods just behind the cabin. They are all nice. We recomend that you have a car avaliable.

An idyllic and quiet spot in the forest

Enjoy nature in this beautiful, quiet place! There is no electricity. Fresh water from a new well. Poor phone signals and zero wifi! This is perfect for a digital detox! This is a place for pure relaxation. The climbing park HøytogLavt Modum and Blaafarveværket are just a few minutes away by car. The place used to house workers from the cobalt mines. The mines is now a museum that can be visited during summer. Approximately 40 min drive to Drammen and 75 min to Oslo.

Eika cottage sleeps 8 people in comfortable beds. Bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower. Linens, duvets, pillows, and towels are supplied. The kitchen has all the things you will need such as a dishwasher, coffee machine, espresso machine, toaster, microwave oven, stove, and oven.
