Overall a wonderful stay. The chickens and house cats were sweet. Thoe house was quiet and we all loved it.

My girlfriend and I had an excellent time here. Everything was as advertised and would easily look to return when coming back to the area. It is about 20-25 minutes from Grand Rapids and about 45 minutes from some of the towns near the water. It is a perfect spot to get away and have access to a quiet house surrounded by nature, yet still have access to some of the bigger cities/towns nearby. The house is clean and spacious, with a great deck to sit outside and relax. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. Michael was accommodating to our dog, and it is a great spot if you have pets. The check-in and check-out process was very simple, and everything was communicated well in advance. We had no issues, but communication was quick for the general messages we had. Michael is a great host and we recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area.

I highly recommend this place! I stayed here with my elderly dog, who is going blind, and it was perfect for both of us. I felt right at home, safe, cared for, and relaxed. Pam and Steve provided dog bowls and even filled the water dish before our arrival. The carpeted staircase and air conditioning were great for my dog, as was the bike path in the backyard that leads to town, the river, and the dog park. The king-size bed is extremely comfy! The property itself is gorgeous and spacious. There is plenty of natural light that comes in through the windows despite the unit being in the lower level. And I appreciated that the streaming devices were already logged in for me. Pam and Steve are excellent communicators. I'll definitely return. My only wish is to keep this hidden gem to myself, especially since I'm trying to rebook for my next appointment in GR, but it's already booked out!
