Monthly Rentals in Södermöja

Beautiful island house in nature with large terrace, (warm) outdoor shower and outdoor toilet with water views! During the Swedish summer holidays there are numerous ferry connections and on the main island some restaurants, from mid-August at least the Coop. Unfortunately, the beach house is not part of the rental, but a nice large jetty. The house is better accessible by boat than via the forest path.

It was a lovely to stay there. We had understood that there was no warm water but not that there was actually no running water. However, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recomend it !

We had a lovely 4-day stay at Carina’s guest house. Situated on her property, the cottage is a peaceful retreat with all the basic essentials, surrounded by a beautiful garden and just 1 minute from the water. We found it an ideal place to disconnect and immerse ourselves in nature. Carina warmly welcomed us and was always available for any questions. Renting a small motorboat from her allowed us to easily access the neighboring island of Möja, where the nearest supermarket and restaurants are located. With the ferry running infrequently, the boat was very convenient. On Södermöja, we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, while on Möja, we savored some delicious fish (Les Poissonniers) and apple pie (Jeppes). We also took a ferry for a day trip to Sandhamn. We would have preferred if bedding and towels had been included in the rental price. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for those seeking peace, simplicity and a connection with nature.
