Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Södermalm

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

Gustavo’s place is clean, lovely and very livable. It is very close to the tunnelbana, Sodermalm, and Gamala Stan. We loved the location and Gustav was so helpful and friendly. Great place and wonderful host!

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

This was probably the best cutest Airbnb I’ve been to! Cute cottage and easy access to Stockholm central with just a short metro ride. Quiet, quaint, town, and the hosts were super kind and communication was very good and fast! Would come again every time I visit Sweden:)

very useful apartment to spend short stays. perfect if you need to go to a show in Tele2 Arena. Kristin is very communicative and always trying to help.

This place is a dream, beautiful property and setting. Matthias is a super attentive and responsive host. A bit away from the centre but public transport system easy to access and navigate. Very competitively priced compared to other airbnb options. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Die Wohnung von Maria war toll, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Wir hätten Maria jederzeit fragen können, wenn etwas gefehlt hätte, da wir stetig Kontakt hatten. Gut erreichbar und trotzdem ruhig. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Beautiful, spacious family home & garden in lovely residential neighbourhood. Super well eqipped.. minutes walk to gorgeous bakery and bar/restaurant. Great supermarket and metro easy 5 minute walk away. Just 3 metro stops away from city. Petter’s communication and recommendations are great. Would absolutely recommend for family visiting Stockholm.

This was by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed! It felt so homely, with a perfect location. The beautiful artwork and lovely plants really made it a true home away from home. If you’re looking for an amazing Airbnb in Stockholm, this is the one to choose. Katilina was an exceptional host, super responsive and incredibly helpful. Our stay in Stockholm was unforgettable, and this place played a huge part in making it so memorable.

Apartamento muy amplio, comodo en zona super tranquila. Habitaciones acogedoras y camas muy comodas. Cocina super bien equipada, no falta de nada. Situacion excelente, 1 minuto a pie a una estacion de metro que te deja en el centro en 5 minutos. Supermercados, panaderia, restaurantes a 1 minuto.

I had a great stay at Ann’s apartment! Cosy and very quiet, neighbourhood is great with lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarket nearby. Train station is also very close which made getting around Stockholm easy. Would absolutely recommend & stay again. Thankyou Ann!

Die Wohnung ist super schön, sehr sauber und wie auf den Fotos. Das Bett fand ich ultra bequem und der Checkin läuft auch super easy! Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Gegend ist belebt, Innenstadtlage, aber da man im 4. Stock ist, ist es nicht zu laut. Der Blick über die Dächer ist super und man kann gut auch eine längere Zeit dort bleiben! Ein Supermarkt ist direkt im Haus gegenüber und ich war total glücklich, so viel zu Fuß erreichen zu können.

AnnaMaria's home is a little way outside of town but easy to reach by multiple modes of easy to manuever public transportation. I really enjoyed being in a place that felt like home and allowed me to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Another great aspect is the neighborhood. Her place is on a busy street but it doesn't feel like it at all. The community is laid back and just peaceful. I really enjoyed my time and am grateful AnnaMaria allowed me to stay in her place.

Nice studio, in a traditional building in the old city, well-equipped; perfect for a base to explore the sights, or as a stay for a business meeting in the city centre.

Nous avons séjourné chez Tobias pour notre escapade à Stockholm. Le logement est cosy, confortable et très bien situé (16 min à pied de la gare et 5 min des commerces) Un grand merci à Tobias et Ida pour leur réactivité et leurs bons conseils. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Alejandro was always quick to respond to my questions and patient as I learned how to use various appliances. The location is convenient with easy access to two separate public transportation stations, delicious restaurants, two supermarkets, a beautiful nature preserve with trails and swimming from the dock in front of the building. The apartment is very comfortable with a lovely terrace and fully equipped kitchen. We were provided with early access which was helpful after an overnight flight to Stockholm. We would love to return some day!

We loved everything about this apartment in Stockholm. Erik & Victoria’s place is absolutely wonderful and we would love to come back again! The kitchen was beautiful and so well equipped, and the beds were so comfortable. The location is also fantastic with so much going on within walking distance. This place is extra special if you have kids - they will be blown away by the toys and magical places to hide! Thank you so much - what a special place!
