Monthly Rentals in Snæfellsjökull

Is the 2nd time I stay in this place, and it is simply awesome! The views are one of the best in iceland, you are close to the beach, and it is a place where you can see wales, foxes, seals, etc. we were able to film some orcas and seals in the beach, so what can I say 🥲 the apartment itself was really nice, with a bbq and the sunset 🥹 thank you guys 🙏

This was my second to last night on a week long ring road trip around Iceland and it was one of my favorite stays. I booked last minute the morning of and the host was accommodating. I knew from images that it was nice, but when I arrived I realized the tiny house was brand new! Everything was well thought out from kitchen amenities to blackout shades around the entire home to complimentary vanity kits in the bathroom. The space was chic, clean and so comfortable! The view overlooking the ocean is simply amazing as well! One suggestion is to hit the grocery prior to heading out - I was just there for a night, but most of the restaurants within a 30 minute drive close early and open late.

Had a really nice stay here on our last night in Iceland. I was very glad to find this place that would accommodate my family of 8 in this rural setting. Wanted to stay close to the national park, and there were not many options other than this. The place was better than I was expecting/pics led on. I was worried we would be cramped, but that was not the case. Other than one of the bedrooms, plenty of space. On that bedroom, I knew going in it would be tight based on pics. In spite of being a bit cramped, not a big deal. Slept fine in that room, and everyone in general slept fine. Main floor was roomier than i thought. Plenty of room in kitchen and other rooms for all. Kids loved the place. Not too far from murals and ocean. Only issue i had was no shampoo in the place. No idea if I knew that before and forgot or should have known it, but it surprised me. Not a big deal. I did not inquire about it either as I was in a hurry. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Cozy and Quiet Apartment in Ólafsvík We had a wonderful stay (3 nights) at this apartment in Ólafsvík — the ideal base for touring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. After a busy day, it was the perfect place to relax. It had everything we needed: a clean private bathroom, a well-equipped kitchenette with fridge, dishes, coffee maker, and sink. There was even a TV and comfy armchairs. The bed was very comfortable, with high-quality linens. You can park right outside — there are about two free spots. Restaurants are just a short walk away. The neighborhood is quiet, and we slept well even during the bright Icelandic nights, thanks to good blackout blinds. Check-in was smooth with clear instructions. All in all, a fantastic stay — highly recommended! Could have stayed longer.
