We are located on 1.5 miles of private Bulkley River frontage and world class fishing. It is 5 minute walk to the river. This is a quiet rural setting 10 minutes to Smithers. The neighbourhood is quiet with beautiful views and great walking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing opportunities. Great for couples, families w children, solo, business travellers and perfect for fishermen . The suite has a private entrance, clean and comfy. If I could give this place 6 stars out of 5, I absolutely would. The Loon Suite (and all of Lorna & Tom's property) has all the luxuries of a high-end resort without being pretentious or fragile; I felt completely at home for my entire stay. The bed and the bedding were so incredible they deserve their own review. Same could be said of the views, Lorna's breakfast, the overall hospitality, ... I could go on. If you have a chance to stay here, I can't recommend it highly enough!

Excellent setting, very accommodating hosts. I felt right at home with Archie and Amanda. They both love to fly fish and with me being by myself, they checked in with me and made sure I was OK. I had some excellent sleeps. Although I was focussed on fishing, the Buckley river, there was lots to do around their place. Maybe next time…
