We had a great time at the beach cottage. Luis was an incredibly responsive and communicative host (and accommodated an early check in) and the house had beautiful views of the water and was nicely decorated. We enjoyed the fire pit and well stocked kitchen as well.

My husband found this rental about six months ago while watching the Salish Sasquatch on YouTube. He showed me the listing and I kept it in the back of my mind as his 50th birthday was coming up and it looked like a fun place for the family celebration. Our stay at this vacation rental was nothing short of amazing! Though remote and completely off-grid, the home was stocked with everything we could possibly need—and more. It’s clear that an extraordinary amount of care and thought has gone into making this space not only functional, but comfortable (even luxurious!), and most of all memorable. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches are what truly set this rental apart, beginning with the warm in-person welcome. The setting is peaceful, private, and the view stunning. The outdoor spaces were perfect for morning coffee, evening drinks, games, and fires under the stars. We absolutely loved it and cant wait to share the experience of this stay with others.

Such a cute and cozy home, very welcoming! The beds were very comfortable and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The local grocery store had wonderful pastries and the local coffee shop had delicious coffee, a must go if you stay here! The hosts were very accommodating and even worked with us on recovering some items we accidentally left behind, very kind.

Uchenna’s house is a dream. My husband and I were obsessed with the decor and how well-appointed the home was. We cooked simple meals while there and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Also a very quick drive down to town to check out a few of the restaurants during our stay. Location was great for us, as we wanted off the beaten path and quiet. Fireplace was also a real treat, and the deck was wonderful to lounge on. Uchenna herself was very responsive when we had a few questions during the stay, and everything worked as described in the home. The hot tub is great! Such a unique home, would definitely stay again if back in the area!

If you're looking for a good base of operations for some travel to Northwest destinations, this place works great. We were able to make some trips to Olympic National Park, Tacoma and Seattle - all within a decent distance. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend anyone wanting to visit the Northwest to stay here. There were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping not too far away. Traveling by car can be a little slower in these parts as the roads wind quite a bit and we didn't use many freeways. If coming here when dark it can be a little tricky to find as it is quite dark, but luckily there was a neighbor outside that helped us.
