Family-friendly holiday rentals in Skogstorp-Västra Gärdet-Arvidstorp

We have had a great stay with Anders, and can recommend it to all families with small children. The garden is large and lush and has several seating areas and dining areas. We were 4 adults and 4 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. In the garden there is both a playroom, pool and toys in addition to carping and barbecue. The sea is in easy walking distance and the beach is long- shallow so you can safely let the kids run and play on their own Although Anders and Gittan live in the house, they have their own patio at the front of the house, so that you are completely "alone" in your own garden. They are very nice and helpful hosts.

Arne and Monica were a very very hosbitably couple! We arrived their lovely house and were amazed, when we saw it in real. It was very nice decorated and there was enough place for us (7 people). Arne prepared a lot of activities we could do and places we have to go! The places and activities like a boat trip or canoing were great! As well the landscape around the house and in this little village was fantastic. We felt very well and comfortable in Arne's House and wish to come again.

The house was the perfect spot to enjoy a few Swedish summer coast days - nice sandy beach in 10 min. walking distance, activities and shopping opportunities only a short car ride away. Emma and family have created a really comfortable place to relax and especially enjoy the ocean view, no matter which weather. Similar to previous visitors, also our kids especially liked the jacuzzi and the sound system. Communication was great, we would definitely come back.

We were there in winter, it was a cozy nice little survival-like shelter! Åke was a super nice host!

The house was lovely! We enjoyed our evenings in the beautiful conservatory, cooked in the completely equipped kitchen and slept very well in the nice bedrooms. The price is very low in comparison to other houses in the region. The area is great for hiking and Andreas pointed out some very nice routes and places for us. In summary, one of the best stays we had so far, and if we ever come back to Sweden, we would gladly stay here again. Thank you!

Carina and her husband are very friendly and helpful hosts! We felt right at home. The apartment is nice, super clean and equipped with everything you need. The view of the lake is fantastic and the location in the middle of nature is fantastic. We stayed at Carina's place for 6 great nights and we would love to come back anytime!

We felt completely comfortable with these very dear hosts! From the first moment we were warmly welcomed and supported with a lot of helpfulness. Especially for families with children, this place is just perfect – like a small, idyllic farm with chickens, cats and lots of nature to discover. The child loved it! The cabin is cozy, lovingly furnished and ideally located not far from Gekås Ullared. Especially pleasant: the hosts even speak German, which made a lot easier. We will definitely be back and can really recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, warmth and a family-friendly environment!

We were very happy to stay at Lajla's cozy house. It's not big, but super functional and charming, and probably even nicer in the summer where you can take advantage of the lovely outdoor area. We brought our dog and it worked super well. We can only recommend Lajla's lovely house and Lajla is a super sweet and welcoming host. We'd love to come back - if we're allowed.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a true gem! We’ve had an amazing time at Charlotte’s little paradise. We‘d love to come back again at some point! 🫶

Very nice place to stay for those who like it very quiet and like to go exploring by car. Much is easily accessible in about 30 minutes by car (hiking trails , shopping, lakes). The hosts are very friendly and always easily accessible.

Super cozy cabin close at sea, a strong recommendation. Will probably see you again soon!

We had a great, quiet New Year's Eve with our dog in Staffan's cottage. Very quiet location but everything (beach, shopping) is very easy to reach in a short time. The house is very comfortably furnished, great host - always happy to come back !!!

We are happy with the accommodation. Moderately large for 2 people. Most of it was what you needed. The best is to have a dog with you. I walked the dog in the nice cemetery across the road. For us a good distance to Capio, where the partner would. We will get back to you if we are in Halmstad one more time.

This is a terrific house - well maintained and furnished and a perfect location between the town, sea and golf. We highly recommend this place!

We had a very pleasant stay in this lovely house. We especially enjoyed the pool and garden. The pool is excellent – our kids loved swimming in it even before breakfast. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, making cooking a breeze. The surrounding area is also beautiful and peaceful, especially the small island with its swimming spots. Mikael always answered questions very quickly and was very helpful. Overall, this is a great place to stay, and we highly recommend it.

We were six girls renting Katarina's place for a weekend and we had a fantastic stay. Katarina gave us clear instructions before check-in, which made everything flow very well. The area was quiet and peaceful, but at the same time within walking distance to most things we needed. Thank you for letting us rent from you Katarina. We will definitely come back!

A nice place to stay, very good location in Båstad.

We were two families with small children and enjoyed ourselves very much. There were plenty of play opportunities (the playhouse was a winner for the kids). Being able to charge the electric car, lighting the grill and taking a dip in the hot tub was very much appreciated.

We spent a week in Linda and the nice house of the family. It's a practical house with a well-kept pool that we used every day. The outdoor area with the wooden deck is amazing and invites to social activities such as barbecue evenings and long dinners. The wooden deck has loungers and is big and tidy. There is a lot for families with children with children with Close to beach where you can cycle and nice footpaths in the nearby forest! Recommended for everyone except cat allergies. There are 4 cats in the house that would like to be a little social.

We travelled as a family of 6 - grandparents, parents and 2 children and had an a wonderfully relaxing time at Asa & Stefan’s house. The house is as described and really well equipped. The swimming pool was a big hit and we all enjoyed our evening walks to the beach. We hadn’t realised how quiet the area would be in the middle of August but it still suited us well - except it was difficult to hire bikes for our small children. If we come again we would make sure to book well in advance. Everything at the house was made very easy and thoughtful and meant we could all relax and enjoy ourselves.
