Private airy room overlooking a large mature garden in a beautiful 1930s well decorated semi-detached house, with a private bathroom opposite the bedroom. It's in a cul-de-sac near shops and amenities and close to Swansea University , Gower College and Singleton Hospital. It's a short walk to bus stops taking visitors to the stunning Gower Penninsula or shops, pool and theatre in the city centre. I am usually at home to answer any queries and like to be there to welcome guests.
“Marilyn is an excellent host with a lovely house which was absolutely spotless. People looking to stay short or long-term in Swansea should definitely consider her. I stayed for a long time and my stay was very comfortable.”
Lovely Swansea (SA2) house built in 1923 very close to great restaurants and bars in Uplands and three super parks . You can walk to the city centre, the sea front, Wales National Pool, Swansea University, the Dylan Thomas House and Singleton Hospital. The location is also convenient for the Liberty Stadium home of Swansea City Football Club and the Ospreys. Sunny gardens. Plenty of on-street parking. Your room has a pull down desk. You will find chairs hanging on the wall outside your door.
“Amazing stay here. I had an exam at uni so got to walk over in the morning was 10-15 minute walk. The room was very clean and the house was very quiet at night had a great night sleep. House was sparkling clean and the hosts let me watch tv downstairs and use the kitchen - would deffo stay here again!”
This is a spacious room in a light 1930s house in a quiet residential area. There is a double bed and storage, with tea/coffee making facilities, and room for a single bed suitable for a child or young person if needed. The house is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and bars, and is close to Swansea University, Singleton Hospital, the city centre, the beach and Gower. Breakfast is provided. There is a driveway for your car. Please see 'guest access' below.
“Ann was a very friendly and helpful host throughout our entire stay. Her home is very cosy, comfortable and decorated in a lovely way. She thought about all the small details that guests may need. House & the guest rooms were very clean and decent. Neighbourhood is very safe, there is a very pretty garden behind the kitchen which is perfect for a breakfast with a view. Location-wise it is very close to the Uplands area, however depending on the weather in Swansea, it may not always be available to go on foot. I would highly reccommend to share house with Ann, for the cosy, great and feels-like-home atmosphere.”
