friendly hosts who are easy to converse with and nice to be around exceptional garden with multiple outdoor sitting areas, some of which are quite private due to the screening provided by the trees and plants exceptional attention to detail and economy of design in the living spaces fixtures and equipment appear new and are of high quality the place feels like a country house, but it's five minutes from the golf course

A really peaceful and secluded place to stay, especially recommended if you want to unplug from the internet (there is no WiFi, and we had no mobile signal, but the TV has a DVD player). It's a cosy space, ideal for just two people. Though we didn't meet them, it was great to have someone nearby to sort problems and ask questions.

Better than a 5 star hotel.! A lovingly created space curated by someone with an eye for beautiful things. Lots of lovely extras which were greatly appreciated. Lovely walk through the wood into town and to the beach. Dornoch is a bijou town with gorgeous shops ,eateries and cathedral . Don is a great host and I enjoyed our conversations . Couldn’t be more perfect.

Everything about this place is perfect. Comfortable, warm and spotless. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and more. They were genuinely interested in our travels and our well-being. We could not ask for more.
