While we normally book places without shared spaces, in some areas shared spaces are common and the Golden Circle seemed to be one of those. Even though we did have to share space here, it was very comfortable. There were plenty of bathrooms. The other guests were all extremely respectful of each others space and spoke quietly even outside of the quiet hours. The room and beddings were comfortable. The surrounding environment was absolutely beautiful. Overall a very relaxing one night stay.

Very clean and quite place. Nice host offering local products for breakfast. It is expensive (for EU standards) but everythig was great. Thank you Haraldur.

Asá's farmhouse is a wonderful stay in the heart of the golden circle. The accommodations were very clean and even though the bathrooms and showers were shared between other guests they were very private and there were multiple so there was no issue having to wait to use them. The kitchen was cozy and easy to use. And it is on a horse farm, so there are opportunities to take advantage of the horseback riding experiences they offer or just visit with the horses once you arrive. I can't recommend Asa's place enough. I would definitely come back!

Ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Häuschen. Hier genossen wir Islands Ruhe und einen großartigen Ausblick. der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war stets freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. danke für alles!

Wir waren eine Woche bei Haukur in der Hütte und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Er war immer gut erreichbar und hat uns bei allem geholfen. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön und super um abzuschalten. Es ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Es sah zu jeder Wetterlage traumhaft aus. Die Hütte ist gut ausgestattet. Man ist von Selfoss ca. 20 min mit dem Auto entfernt und dort gibt es alles was man braucht. Es hat uns sehr gefreut dich kennenzulernen, hoffentlich bis zum nächsten Mal!

We had a wonderful stay at Jónas's cabin! The space was cozy, beautifully designed, and captured the charm of a true Icelandic retreat. The location was peaceful and serene—perfect for unwinding and connecting with nature. Communication with the hosts was seamless; they were incredibly friendly and responded to our questions almost immediately. Staying here gave us the chance to experience a different and stunning side of Iceland’s landscape. Just a tip: come prepared with groceries, as the cabin is quite remote. Overall, a truly memorable stay—we highly recommend it!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Hütte ist völlig ausreichend und mit allem ausgestattet was gebraucht wird. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten des golden circle sind gut zu erreichen. Absolute Empfehlung

Es waren unsere ersten drei Tage auf Island. Wir waren sehr unsicher - Flugverspätung, Mietauto, alles war für uns neu. Aber die Hütte haben wir nach Haralds Anweisungen problemlos sofort gefunden. Alles sah genauso wie auf den Fotos aus. Die Hütte ist klein, aber äußerst gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Küche ist sehr praktisch eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht, es ist genug Besteck da, genug Gläser, Teller, Töpfe, ein Minibackofen... Die Matrazzen sind einfach ein Traum, weder zu hart noch zu weich, wir haben sehr but geschlafen. Und es ist auch sofort warm, wenn man die Heizung andreht. W-Lan hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Es war wie im Paradies. Und die Lage: besser gehts nicht. Ca. 30 Min zum Gullfoss und Geysir, und man ist auch sehr schnell bei Selfoss und im Süden. In der Nähe git es auch einige Thermalbäder. - Alles in allem war es ein perfekter Start in unseren Urlaub, es tut uns leid, dass wir so schnell abgereist sind. Danke.

Very unique stay! Campground vibes in a small neighborhood. Two bedrooms, bathroom, and small kitchenette in a private area with free access down the hall to a large kitchen and dining area. Fun little coffee shop/grocery store and a small play area my 2 year old loved nearby.
