Calf cabin- Unique and beautiful farmstead!

Countryside getaway! If you want to experience something unique during your trip to Iceland this little house has been repurposed as guest house. On our farm it has always been called the Calf cabin, as it was used as a small barn and a stable in the past. On the outside we preserved the old rock laying and the architecture style but mixed old and new styles on the inside. We recycled and repurposed as much material as possible and we are pleased with the outcome. Now it is a cozy little suite.

Perfect stay for exploring south Iceland and enjoy nature and the northern lights in winter. Beautiful cabin by the river Hvítá in a prime location in the Golden Circle. Near Gullfoss and Geysir and only 100 km to the capital city Reykjavík. The cabin can accommodate 2-4 persons. One bedroom with beds for two people. In the living room there is a pull-out sofa for two persons. The kitchen is fully stocked. The bathroom has a shower and the laundry room has a washing machine and a dryer.

My place is close to The Golden Circle and the Highlands. The place has picturesque view. You can see Hekla, Eyjafjallajökul, Langjökull through the windows of the cottage. Closed to the cottage is Skálholt church, one of Iceland´s most important historic sites. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, the kitchen, the hot tub. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Only 2 km to Health service. If you have back problems we have a soft mattress for you.

Beautiful Luxury cabin located only 1 min drive from world-famous Geysir and it is also a short drive to Gullfoss The cabin is located on a large private ground where you can enjoy Strokkur (the only active Geysir in Iceland) from the cabin. Cozy house by the river Hvítá. There are comfortable beds and the kitchen has all equipment you need. The wifi conects to a smart-tv , the tv has an open account for our gests on amozon prime tv also you can login on your netflix acount or just youtube. Free washer and dryer. The scenary is beautiful and picturesque. The house is in the middel of the golden circle and is a great place to stay and be clouse to all the biggest attractions in the south part of Iceland.
