Gits Torp is a fantastic place if you want to meet the spring on beautiful Öland. Almond blossom, buttercups and sweet clover. Migratory birds and sunbathing seals at Ottenby, the island's southern headland. There are very good guided tours every day, completely free. There is much more to see and discover if you have a car. For example, Bårby Castle, where archaeology teachers and students from Stockholm University enthusiastically talked about the excavations in the old Iron Age castle. In Hulterstad, there is a memorial to those who died when the ship Kronan was blown up outside Öland in 1676. At Segerstads church - within walking distance of the cottage - Ölandsmålaren Per Ekström has his tombstone. The well-cleaned and clean cottage is equipped with everything you may need and the sleeping areas (double bed and sofa) are very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house in Triberga. The surroundings are really nice. From the upper floor, you have a view of meadows down to the sea. Although the house is right by the road, we were never disturbed by traffic noise. The kitchen was well-equipped. Cozy garden with outdoor furniture. Fine accommodation that met our high expectations.
