Jump into the lake from the boat bridge and rinse yourself in hot water overlooking Himmelbjerget. Take your kayak and sail a morning trip and meet the heron. Enjoy your morning coffee in the pavilion with the wood stove on. Read a book in the double bed overlooking the lake or take the mountain bike and take a ride on the route outside the door. Small cottage on a large natural plot close to Gudenåen

The cottage is simple and personally decorated. Still with some of the atmosphere from '67 when it was built. It is located on a large natural plot (3,000 m2) in a protected cottage area, close to Gudenåen with access to a common area with a jetty and its own canoe. The forest, Mossø and the heather hills are just around the corner. On the property, there is an annex that we ourselves have for our products. Sverre is a ceramist and Anne Mette is a weaver. We live (and work) in the neighboring house and are always available when we are home.

The home consists of a living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor of the manager's residence for Hårby Dairy. Private entrance and free parking. The house was built in 1905, there are wooden floors and high ceilings in all rooms. Bedroom with double bed and space for a cot - Living room with dining table and 4 chairs, sofa bed with 2 beds, TV, Wi-Fi, books and games - Kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, - Bathroom with toilet, shower, washing machine. Gudenå Annex

Relax with family in this peaceful home close to Gudenåen. We are a family of two adults, and our children, aged 4-10, who rent out our extra guest house/annex in the garden. You will enter inside our private garden, and will during your stay with us, sharing the garden with us as a common area. There is also the possibility that you can be a little more yourself, as you will have your own terrace attached to the annex. Of course, we respect it if you want it to be more private, but there may be children playing in the garden.😊

A peaceful area surrounded by nature, close to the attractions of Central and East Jutland, and with wonderful views of the lake.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and peaceful side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The accommodation is part of our property from the 1870s and was originally an old stable, which we have lovingly renovated over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. The sky is high here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cat, chickens and roosters are also very curious. We look forward to welcoming you 🤗
